Just get some bongo drums and one TT.

When the record playing comes to an end...play the bongos in sync to it as best you can.

After it ends, use one foot and one hand to keep playing the bongos, and then change the record, beatmatch it, and mix in, using one hand.

Unless you wanna be a n00b and acually use TWO turntables

so you're saying.... only buy Behringer mixers?

Rayleigh scattering when light hits oxygen molecoles

here are the explanations

I is the intensity of light, R is the distance of that molecule and ummm theta is the angle at which the light is hitting it...now to find the cross section use

using lambda as your wavelength and n being the volume of the cross section of the molecule, you will find that blue light has a much higher scattering rate than any other color...

OMG!
I just got my first TT's but when I put the needle on the slipmat all I get is an awful screeching noise instead of my awesome ch00nz! What am I missing here? If you don't reply in 5 minutes I'm going to bump every thread I can find.

Posted by SVGmethod on Mar-03-2006 10:45:

well you are missing the record dummy! ok so first you place the record on the turntable then you put the rubber slipmat that you get with your technics and place it on top of the record. this should take care of the problem

Posted by richg101 on Mar-03-2006 10:52:

clovis... i need your help.

im starting out and i wanna buy some cdj's but am not sure whether to go for pioneer, numark or technics.. or should i get vinyl tt's? someone said vinyl aint gonna be around for much longer.. now i just dont know.. Damn!

i need to know a few things about cd players anyway -

1. what is the pitch resolution of all of them (at each pitch range)

2. i dont scratch so am looking for one that works the best as a beat mixing deck.. which one would you say?

3. do you know the exact power consumption of all the dj cd players sold at the moment? - im worried about my electric bill...

cheers in advance - and sorry if i sound nOOOOOOOOOObish!

RICH

Oh, it all makes perfect sense now.

yeah, i really dont understand people always asking others for advice. especially since most questions seem to indicate someone hasnt put in the slightest bit of thought or effort initially. i mean shit, why do you wanna trust a bunch of net aliases over your own research ffs? come to others for their opinions once youve got some way of gauging the value of their assistance. especially when so many of the answers come down to personal preference.

stop being so lazy kiddies.

HELP
i bought a TT from an offline shop and i was wondering: is there a difference in which direction the platter is rotating? i mean when i put a needle on my new shiny slipmat (bought if off Anjunabeats), i keep getting that awful noise, even if I turn the platter counter-clockwise.
And there's one thing i don't understant. Why do DJ mixers have 2 channels? I mean what normal person would listen to two songs at the same time?? Maybe that's something new and broadens my creativity *dunno*
Plus, i proudly have to admit that my Numark faders don't leak AT ALL. i turned the mixer upside-down for a night and not a single drop on my table!!! Hurray Numark!!

P.S: isn't it more wise to have a small rolling wheel instead of a needle on the record? what if the needle punches little holes in the track, and i will have that stupid breakdowns, like in tranSe-musiK

Looking forward for a reply!!!!
