I'm sad
I was all lined up to get this sweet job at Fox Networks as helpdesk for this new software their developing. Pay was $24/hr plus some sweet benifits (discounts on fox stuff, pre-screened movies, bumping into celebs at work [first day there I met Pam Anderson]). I got trained on the software on Monday and Wednesday and was scheduled to come back in tomorrow. Today I get a call from the hiring manager telling me that although i'm more than qualified and I would make a great fit...my schedule gets in the way. They need people that can work Monday through Friday and because of school I can really only work Monday, Friday, and half of Wednesday. Supposedly I can just give them a call when I graduate and get a job...but still. $24/hr and hanging out with Seth MacFarlene...gone 
that sucks man...that same shit happened to me when i was studying my undergrad, except i was alrady working there, and i needed to get back in full-time after a couple part-time semesters, and that wasn't possible.
it wasn't quite that high, but it was in the high 30s, nonetheless, the best job i hever had. i wish support paid more, i'd be back there now.
ah fuck it man thats unlucky alrite,its friday today so just go out and get fucked up the wkend and dont worry about it,its only a poxy job!
think about the long run bas. If you quit school to work there... and got canned down the road.. where would be be.... with out and job and without a degree..... Sucks now, but in the long run it will only help.

from what I understand, when you are in the entertainment business, you have sex with everyone. I'm down with it, but i'd rather be studying computer science to hack passwords for porn sites. Are you heading into television/film courses?
