hiya addicts,

Ive just got hold of fl3 and i was wondering how to start using it. Ive been using reason previously, which is a bit different.

How do you start laying out tunes, does it have a view like cubase/reason of the whole track??

Ive read through the manual, but its shit

Can anyone help??

Hitting Enter brings up your playlist. Try opening some of the songs that come with it and see how the playlist is used in conjunction with the sequencer and piano roll and all that stuff. You should figure it out in no time; especially if you're coming off of Reason

Try making simple beats first..using the single hit keys...and with different drums and generators and synths.

Warp the varial strings .... they're usefull with Trance muzak.

Definitely get a good use of the Piano roll...its great

you will learn grasshopper.
