Review: Timo Maas at The Guv
Last minute decision to go (so much for taking it easy this year) and I had a great time. Got to Guv around 1:45AM, walked right in thanks to Chris and Marc's fancy Guv VIP cards.
Timo was on a stage in from of the stage (amazing set up with 6 LCD Screens and 1 projected screen). Timo was meh...wasn't feeling it at all. Went and waited outside of Gallery at 2:30AM for the doors to open (listened to 10 minutes of hip hop from the "pink" room (anyone notice that the orange room is now pink that's how much I wasn't liking Timo's set.
Got into the Gallery - and all I can say if WOW, I really love that place. Stayed there until they closed it down - Simon Jain, and Sidney were great. It is quickly becoming my favorite place to party. My friends (tranceaddicts) actually enjoyed themselves in Gallery - amazing what an open mind can let you enjoy.
At 6am went back to guv and Timo was still on, i was more into his set now, and enjoyed the next 50 minutes or so that he played. Then Mark closed the night off with a bang. Good times were had by all.
Special hey to Sean who I hung out with for the better part of the night - it was a blast. Hope you enjoyed CZ.

I have one question: Did Timo Maas play "Pictures" ?
Cause if he did, i'll be pissed off I missed it. (Damn you Gallery!)

simon jain was playing good..
at the end of timo's set, i was looking at the crowd and he had lost the crowd's energy. he was playing too slow for that time.
mark closed the night off really well.. brought the energy level back up and people left with a smile. good job, mark!
manzone&strong played amazing as usual in the drink. lots of beautiful women and a good energy up there. spent my whole night in the drink pretty much. i wanted to go to the mainroom to find the ta's but i had no idea where to find you guys.
i fell asleep so i wasnt able to go

The gallery was so much better from ~4:30-6, but I enjoyed most of Timo's set. After the gallery closed though, I was in front of him telling to bring the tunes up, I think he said in 5 min, but it never happened so I left
Good party overall though
i really enjoyed Timo's set.. he started out kinda slow, but picked up quick... we tried going the gallery a few times, but they weren't letting anyone in, apparently it was rammed inside...
i liked the marylin monroe look-a-like go go dancers, hah

The coat check line was way too long for me to wait, so I headed straight for the dancefloor. Met up with Ben, Scott and Tasha. Spent the next few hours in guv on the stage, the music was good, but way too much traffic for my liking, so I ran to the Gallery as fast as I could, where I remained 'til they closed.

I got plowed good! Fuckin bouncers! They were on a rampage last night. I tried to bribe them and everything.
Had a good time while I was there though. Timo started off very strong but I found he was getting stale as the night progressed. Ah well.
Another point of interest was some chick puking in the line up, then telling us its ok cause its her birthday.

score:...1/10...and it only got the 1 because some guy hit me in the head with a glowstick
so i grabbed it and whipped across the room, he looked like he was gonna cry...and that cheered me up.
Just my opinion...I have absolutely no clue how anyone can call that circus of a venue a 'positive' clubbing experience.
I miss Boa-Redux (Carey Britt era).
P.S...to Jeff and Liz:..that was the worst attempt to grease a bouncer in the history of mankind...

i guess the bouncers were on a rampage last night some guy told me that there were a lot undercovers in the house so i should be carefull who i ask, so that's prob why they wern't letting shit go or takeing bribes...... buzz kill for the night leaving my wallet in a toronto cab and paying to get back in the just to get kicked out again at times like this being 6'9 and sticking out sucks oh well footwork was a tear!!!! mahahaha
highlight of the night talking my way into 2 clubs with no ID
Wow what a night.....Tasha and I got to the Guv shortly after 11 pm and I wasn't quite sure what to make of MOs opening set. It was good but it didn't make me want to dance.
Ran into Cam, Martin, Ben, and Max and that became the TA group of the night...IMO
Timo started off okay and got me dancing but there was something lacking in his set....maybe it's because I can only hear in one ear right now but I just wasn't feeling it. He spun some great choons here and there but we all agreed that The Gallery was calling our names.
Headed over to the gallery shortly after 3 and damn that place was happening. Stayed there till they shut it down....I finally got to hear Thunderstruck and DAMN that is the best remix I have ever heard....I MEAN EVER.
Shouts...just cause I gotta be me.
First of all thanks to John for Guestlist and the passes...you are awesome.
Shaya - always good to see you out....even though I didn't get to really talk to you I'm sure you had the camera clicking away.
Max - I'm so glad you came out.....I don't know who confuses who more.
Martin - I am so glad I got to see you...it has been way to long. Too bad you missed the cottage weekend....I had absinthe with your name all over it.
Peter (DJSketchbag) - Nice to finally introduce myself....I don't know why it took me so long. I will be sure to say hi more often and hit up the dance floor with you.....So why did you get booted from Guv....I saw the bouncer following you.
Ben - the most unexpected surprise of the night for me. So glad you made it out....you were just full of energy right from the start....I LOVE IT
Tasha - what can I say that you don't already know....I can't believed we stayed up pretty much all weekend and even this morning were able to sit and chat for an additional 3 hours after we got back to my place.
Cam - Dude....I gotta say it....I love ya man....you are the shit...you were fully blazed last night and just rev'd up. First moment of the night.....the really fucked up chick dancing with you as she was falling all over the place.....I tell you....we could have gotten her top off. Second moment.....you and I screaming into peoples voicemail at the top of our lungs....I would love to hear those messages....maybe Fahad will save his for us and he can post it on TA 
It appears the Gallery was the end of you last night...fuckin bouncer plowed you right onto the street. That is just stupid..you were gone before I even had a chance to say anything. I love the text messages......I think they need to be shared right now
