Noob Question.
Why would any DJ needs three turntables?
I have seen some pic in Bedroon DJ Thread, where some of pics show 3 Pioneer CDJ 1000 Turntables at one DJ setup. But why would anyone need three? Isnt two enough?
In a set we move from one track to another with beatmatching, mixing and stuff.
So suppose the current track is A, and the DJ moves to track B, than the mixer which was playing track A is now free, so cant he use that back again to play track C?
because some people like to mix 3 things at once. a lot of techno DJs will do this. carl cox and dave clarke for example.

didnt carl cox use 6 or 7 decks at the same time once?

i like it because you have the versitility to beatmatch multiple sources at once...so your not waiting for one song to end before you can beatmatch the other tracks. imo, it gives you more time to think about what to play next
