Sound plan.

What types would you be looking for? Because I always make my playlists like a journey through emotions, so lots of different stuff but somehow sounding somewhat alike. And it would be like abit relaxing first then building up to more energetic, then agressive then somewhat sad and cooling it down alittle etc etc.

So any preference to types?

I can recommend these, but its all up to you in the end

"turtle beach - blank & jones"
"System F - spread your wings"
"Tenth planet - ghost"
"Talla 2xlc - The Air that I breathe"

NU Nrg has good stuff too

anther one is

Ace da Brain - Dance with the Sun
i heard it in the ID'd tracks area. and from what i heard in the sample, its sometihng i can dance to!
i cant find it anywhere tho.. its like.. impossable!

imo, do a mix is a dj personal taste, if I want to be a dj, I've to have my own opinnion in chosing the tracks, so i can do a compilation that I identify myself with it...

but ok, I noticed u'r looking for classics...
I recommend put some classics available on tracklists of early Tiesto, Armin, Ferry and PVD compilations...
search them on discogs...

Yeah recommendations are fine, as far as tunes go, however the best part of mixing is finding tunes you like and even tracks that have a particular mood in them. Like if your happy, play some more uplifting stuff or more energetic stuff, if your sad, play some depressing and deep shit...lol or some hardcore stuff, or whatever you feel like playing. Keep in mind energy and emotions, those are vital to a good trance mix. Don't keep it all uplifting, don't keep it all banging constantly, level it out, throw in some filler tracks and some anthems and some harder stuff. Mix it up some, thats what I can tell ya...but song recommendations....aah no no

Not really, just going by how these threads are usually just people with a copy of traktor looking for a bunch of things to leech of p2ps.

If he has decks and is buying the records, fair play to him then.
