Simple Psy?

hey all, im looking for some psy trance tunes with a simple yet effective tune which gives you a good feeling

something like Astral Projection - Soundform

im new to psy, so i dont want anything i cant really understand (like a mish-mash of different tunes interlaced), just a distinctive simple sound which makes you feel great

any suggestions?

Soundform isn't simple. It's technically not psy either, but goatrance.

Anyway. Check other Astral Projection stuff.

what you are looking for is not really psy trance but goa trance.

as already mentioned check out Astral Projections earler stuff. Especially the albums Trust in trance, Dancing Galaxy and Another World.
Other good goa producers are MFG, Man With No Name (especially his album Moment of Truth), old Etnica stuff, Chi-A.D. , Shiva Shidapu, Miko & Har-El, Total Eclipse, Transwave, Shakta. Just to mention a few.

Technically, Astral Projection is mostly goatrance as well. But then again, the only real difference between goa and psy is who listens to it.

Well, asking for simple psy trance is like asking Dubya to use correct grammar. Even Astral Projection have some nice complexities to their stuff. Of the stuff I've heard, some of the simplest psytrance is also the least accessible (mostly full-on, some minimal stuff). If you're looking for good psy trance, you're bound to find that it is a lot more complex than you expected.

I think what you mean is melodic psy, in which case you're looking for Astral Projection for sure. Man With No Name is another must.

yea i think youre right

i know Soundform isnt simple, but the tune is simple to understand, and stands out well and entrances you.. thats the type of song i like and wana get more of at the moment!
