I cannot evaluate Ferry's show, but I know he is usually reasonably good.

I'm not 21, so I didn't get to hit Roseland for PvD, but I've got to say that Ferry's show in Crobar on Friday night was absolutely amazing...

Then again, I'm pissed I missed PvD because of the amazing set that he spun at Roxy back in November.

People seem to be too busy being picky about every little thing the dj does instead of ripping it with their friends and having a good time.

ferry always > pvd

trancedm

a good trance set can be magical and ferry
did it for the firstime in this town the point
of the thread is to highlight the fact that
ferry outperformed paul by any metric in
spite that paul has been perfect iny 3
times in the past...

;)

Ahhhh thank you thank you.....we need more people like you!! I had an AMAZING time at both last weekend, and dont care much about being picky.
However if I would change one thing, is why would you give pvd such a low score for energy?? Both him and the crowd in my ENTIRE huge area (and MOST of the venue) were going nuts from open-close....12 for energy on BOTH nights

Nilsteroy!!!

Posted by colibri on Mar-12-2006 17:14:

t r a n c e n e r g y

thenergy i am referring is the one within
the set itself we all know most attendees
will have have a good time no matter what
paul plays to them on the other hand to
give you an idea about energy you missed
pdv under the rain that set was electrifying
every second as he couldnt' affort boosting
his ego with overplayed productions but
instead focused on playing athe highest
energy level it wasurreal unfortunately
i sense atimes he prefers playing songs
he perceives will capitalize his marketing
image and selectively chooses a particular
set for a given crowd i bet at ultra the story
will be different what i find ironic is that
ferry never played so well only now as his
residency lapsed he finally was able to
capture my imagination the only way
an extraordinary painting or pristine
landscape could...
