which crowds are the best/worst?

at pvd, armin, tiesto, ferry events?

ive personally enjoyed the crows at pvd gigs. they tend to be more mature and more there for the music.
less ginos.

now which dj do you think brings out the druggies the most.

PvD has far more crackies than Armin, Tiesto or Ferry. The FOB headshaker population is through the roof for his events and we were right next to a bunch of them at Roseland (right hand side, not far back)

I thought the Roseland crowd wasn't bad at all. Maybe just because it was comfortable in there compared to Roxy. Personally I think Tiesto brings in a shit crowd.

They must have all congregated around me. Actually I think this is true, as it didn't seem as bad in some other sections, but we stayed kind of close to where all the Francis, the Kellys, and the TOTAs were in the beginning (did you guys all run off somewhere??). We just tried to put a distance between us and them, it was just every time we went for a cigarette or a drink, we had to stumble through them. It's really hard to navigate your way through a bunch of drugged out, erratically dancing people with strobes and lasers blinding your eyes. They should make a video game like that.

What the hell is an FOB?

The question should be which club brings out the best/worst crowd

I used to be an FOB back in the day. At least i knew english when i moved here.

Jonathan Peters by far brings the absolute worst crowd.... full of 15-18 year olds that havent seen any other DJ yet, but think hes a "god" because he was on True Life on MTV...

...i liked this LEF night's crowd, surprisingly!

I was referring mostly to the asians. It's actually a term I picked up in college from asian americans who resented the bad image that these people present of asians in general.

yeah it gets me *pissed* everytime I see this, talk about giving *EVERYONE* a bad name

ugh i just feel like PUNCHING them out. lol i feel like doing that to the guidos also. At Ferry, some of them looked SO close to the leehotti pics it was SCARY

Posted by DJ A.K on Mar-06-2006 23:25:

Yeah, Jonathan Peters definately brings out the drug crowd more than other DJs. Now the real question is... Is it because people who like drugs need Jonathan Peters, or is it that you need drugs to like Jonathan Peters...?

Hahahahaa! Maybe a little of both. I've never been to a JP show so I can't comment on that but Roseland wasn't bad. I mean it had it's crackies but since it was 21+ they couldn't come out in full force. I often wonder if they actually do come out for the big dj's or if they're there every weekend for their fix. Seems like they go more for the drugs than the music. Maybe for all they care it could be a 5 year old kid banging some pots and pans on stage and they'd still have a blast.

OMG, it's one of the things I hated the most about the parties in DC, haven't seen it in NY as much, but I always remember that and did the whole imitation thing with Koon @ Sully on new years

Posted by Birchler65 on Mar-07-2006 21:00:

Yeh what is it with the old asians who get so high they look like theyre ready to loose theyre pulse the way they dance. PVD doesnt bring bad crowds. Morrillo brings out the obnoxious guidos ill tell ya that much. Tiesto brings out the young crackheds. Danny teneglia bring similar crowds to peters it seems

crowds at 21+ zabiela events are best.

I do think that PvD attracts more asians regardless of age. When I saw him at 1015 in SF after love parade the place seemed like it was 90% asian. I was almost freaking out.

lol ... every time I think of asians @ pvd, it reminds me of the Tokyo clips from pvd dvd. oddly i don't see any japanese people at pvd events in nyc.
