Holden and Thompson - Come To Me

A while ago I mentioned the fact that I couldn't find a version of "Holden and thompson - Come To Me" that sounded like the one used in Sasha's "Fundacion". I was told by a few TAs that this is because of the fact that Sasha did his own thing with the track.

IMHO those extra synths are what make that song really good.


well, I just thought I would let you all know that I found a version of "Come To Me" that includes those synths that make that song really good. wait for it....

the song starts properly and finishes properly.... IT IS NOT A SET RIP!!!

Where would this have come from?

It says "Original mix", but I had gotten hold of the original mix several times before, only to find that those synths weren't there.

Are you talking about the "Last Version"?

yes, but alas, the "Last Version" is a misslabel, it's actually the Club Mix

I still prefer eau's mix over anything else

its a cool tune anyway. I just thought u guys might know

Since this is a "I have a mp3 misslabed thread". I would also like to ask a question.

From what i heard Okenfold never worked with this track.

I have it labed "Sinead O'Connor - Troy (Paul Oakenfold Mix)".

So i was wondering if any one knows the truth behind it. Track is 8:34 mins long. Maybe that might help.

from hearing the third set of samples. It seems all out of order too. lol

so your Club Mix is the Last Version. Which one do we believe in?

the "Last Version" on Fundacion is actually the Club Mix, that's all i'm gonna say.

No, on Fundacion he mixes the Last Version into the Club Mix. They're pretty much fused together because the club mix starts at the break of the last version. The Last Version on its own is very minimal and rather qiet...with no vocals except alot of distorted whispers and humming.

the version that Nick Warren uses on GU028 is my favorite, even though it's just a really sped up and pitched-up version of the Club Mix. great song, gives me the shivers whenever i listen to it.

not the 'minimal' sounding part, but rather the end of it, what you say the "Last Version" mixes into.

Ya...the club mix.

Which is why Last Version is the minimal whispery dark one, and Club mix has the punch of that strong melody.
