Calgary wishes it was Toronto.

(the city and its citizens--I don't care about hockey).

ya no thanks. What part do we want? the snobbery? the pollution? economy? the clubs?

I think ill stick to my big, rednecked, open space, blue sky, mountain backdrop of a city. People do weird things here, like say thanks to strangers, hold open doors and the like.

But this isnt a calgary vs toronto in living conditions thread. Its a "pick up the pace maple leafs" thread.

Posted by Tordan on Mar-07-2006 22:11:

hey jason... I think you just posted more times in TOTA from Calgary than when you actually lived here.

ps. leafs suck!

/me runs away

I like calgary....I'm from saskatchewan myself so yeah, I'd most definitely live in Calgary over Toronto. But i'm living in Toronto (and I like it! hehe)

hee hee hee
*laughs at how easy it was to change this thread from a "pick up the pace maple leafs" to a calgary vs toronto in living conditions thread*

anybody who has heard me in the past know I cheer AGAINST the leafs (and the oilers)

but for the first time in ???? years, all 6 canadian teams have a very good shot @ making the playoffs. its the MAPLE LEAFs who are the downer on the cause atm (and montreal is sliding fast) And ill be honest, I love good rivalries. I think all sports fans do. You dont get better than 2 teams who "hate" each other over a series of games. I dont like hockey tremendously, and if all 6 make it it means some will face each other 1st round. some 2nd. and cities will be abuzz with the energy. And it will be great

ok ill be honest, I just want to see titties on the red mile in calgary again.

Posted by Yohan on Mar-07-2006 23:58:

^I like good rivalry games, but I don't fucking need it 6 times a year. It loses its appeal real damn fast.

Posted by Frenchie on Mar-08-2006 00:31:

The Leafs suck??

I wasn't aware!

LOL... kidding.
