haha. im sure if armin went up his 5000 lb bouners would have thrown him off.

interesting how diddy probably thinks hes the big shit in every music genre. i didnt even notice him until soemone told me he was on dancing.

I would love to see that more often. He seems more into it than most of the DJs actually playing. You have the greatest job in the world. You play other peoples records. And you get paid to do it. Fucking have a good time.

Much respect to Puffy.

He is the big shit in every music genre, the biggest, smelliest turd there is. They should call him doodie instead.

Shamez, lots of DJs look like they're having fun and then there are others who take what they do pretty seriously. Concentrating never looks that fun.

+1

JZ is a good example of how a dj should look

digweed is a example of how a dj should not look......(though he is a machine and when he plays i spend more time dancing than looking at the dj)

Like John said, Zabs is the prototype of what I want my DJ to do/be. He is technically sound, plays good music, and enjoys the shit out of what he does. Is it really that hard in between mixes to jump around and smile a little bit?

fuck piss dookie

Posted by phoenixBEBE on Mar-08-2006 03:16:

jesus christ, couldn't Diddy just partay it up in the VIP area or wherever he hangs out with his krew? Did he HAVE TO get up on the stage and showboat like he usually does? What an arrogant prick. Should have just booed him off the stage, he can't show up ARMIN!!! Im so glad I wasn't there

in fact, Armin should have just pulled a TIESTO (when Rodman came up during the 11/27 party) and WALKED THE FUCK OFF the stage. ahahha

I just thought it was some random black guy up on stage. I had no idea it was diddy until I read TA the next day. I just figured that some random thugs somehow got past security ... or that Armin apparently had some peeps in the hood.

i like puffy...he lives the life.

word and Puffy > Armin

YAY let the argument begin

Posted by DOOMBOT on Mar-08-2006 04:28:

Who cares. Puffy can pretty much do what he wants in a club so he got up there with Armin and danced around a little. Big deal, I'd take advantage of that if I could too. The crowd seemed to love it anyway, so who cares.

lol that video is classic
they are both doing the gweedo fist pump
ha ha ha
p.s the lasers in the background and that night were amazing

What I think you guys are missing (and I could be wrong), but isn't that "lets get up and lets get ill" track an armin van buuren remix?

Posted by pyro264jb on Mar-08-2006 07:32:

Why do djs have to be like there glam and shit now. I clearly remember at twilo pvd wouldnt even do as much as raise his hand. He would never gesture to the crowd, really just focus and bring shit together. Now.... well this pastweekend speaks for itself Oh he' really into it now....

Posted by V1s1on on Mar-09-2006 19:28:

I was there that night (shit I was on stage taking pictures). Lot of people at the club were going nuts when they saw Diddy. Armin looked like he was honored that he was pumped by his music. I remember Armin like kinda giving him a little bow of respect when he came up on stage. Wasnt a big deal. Cool to see hip hop people showing respect for trance.

Hehe, I remember thinking the same thing when I was up front that night. I was drunk as all hell all night long, and I remember looking up on stage and thinking to myself, "Who's this guy dancing...?". Afterwards, when diddy walked off of the stage to get to VIP, I briefly spoke with him, asking him some stupid question about why he was spinning EDM even though he's a rapper (I was drunk, you've got to let it slide hehe). He responded by saying something like, "Hip-hop is my passion, but nothing beats a hard dance party with house music!". An overall good experience (no Rodman here!).

That, of course, is why I disagree with those that criticise the appearances of mainstream American celebrities in clubs. I think it adds to the fun of the party rather than take away from it. Now, if Diddy were there all night long, then it would have been a problem; as some clubbers that didn't know any better would be focusing on Diddy's antics rather than paying attention to Armin. But I believe that celebrities should go up on stage from time to time, but only in small doses.
