I wonder

Now, I don't like Bush. But I hate whiney internet kids. I was just wondering:

How has Bush being in office personally affected your life?

FYI: Gas prices, not his fault.

Well, when Bush was on the WTC rubble talking on that mega-phone, it was really sick and I thought that was awesome.

BTW, I have no problem with Bush, is this only for the whiney internet kids?

Even though he is against embryonic stem cell research (My only beef), he's a cool dude.

rolf...i just saw it on a t-shirt and decided to say it...now roll those eyes back!

George Bush's policy of not federally funding any human stem cell lines post-2001 and putting an absolute ban on both therapeutic and reproductive human cloning has had an effect on the extent of the research which I am able to conduct at my university. It's also stupid because it's allowing other nations in the world to get a major step up on budding technologies and, ultimately, it's depriving hundreds of thousands of people the potential treatment of neurologically degenerative and cardiological conditions, as well as a multitude of other disorders.

Surprise! You weren't forced into the army.

EDIT: I'd like to say that I'm not saying Bush hasn't done anything wrong, I'm just curious to see how much he has affected people in general.

Surprise! I wasn't complaining. I loved it.. whats your point?

Posted by Floorfiller on Mar-10-2006 01:00:

i went into 7-11 the other day and i had to pay $1.35 for a bag of starbursts. that's different then the $1.25 i used to pay a year ago. now i understand that inflation is a factor in all of this, but let's say inflation is what? 3% every five years...well then the .10 increase in price shows about an 8% increase in total price over the last year. what kinda crap is that? estimating his price gouging continues, we could all be facing a 24% increase in starburst prices over the next three years...

will the patriot act count, or is that just the natural progression of american policy?

Posted by Ripped Bag on Mar-10-2006 01:01:

You asked how he affected my life.. I answered.

Yeah I still love the military, thats why I'm still in it =)

+1

I feel that The Patriot act connot be judged until it has failed. Then we can say that our sacrifice of freedoms was not worth it because a terrorist attack occured with the Patriot act in effect.

War = Gas Price Up......its his fault....he raised the tax level by going to war.

Gas prices were going to fuck up regardless at one point or another. Quit crying about your 2.50-3.10 prices when people pay 6-9 in Europe

Also it has a lot to do with the oil execs hiking the prices whenever *shakes magic eight ball* this or that happens and *spins wheel* that happens

Pretty sure there were several wars in the Middle East before we got there. Regardless, for all the people saying that they'd rather live in a different country. Look at those countries' gas prices.

That's right. Just look at the Kyoto Treaty Protocol, which the US are proponents of, but Bush won't sign it because the cost of trying to get all corporations to adjust for the new air pollution regulations would be too expensive and there would be an economic collapse....

..or something.

Regardless at 1 point or another ? so theres no reason behind it. Since the Europeans pay a lot we should pay a lot more. Since there are smaller cars in Europe, we should make ours small too. Since Europeans use Right hand drive we should do it aswell..... good logic u own.

Haliburtons freakin shit...thanks to cheneys commanding position. Make an oil company owner run your country, expect things to become more European.
