Maybe not the best flick, but sure fun to watch. Deep Discount DVD has it on sale for $5.95 with free shipping.

San Francisco's rave scene is exposed in this exciting independent drama from writer-director Greg Harrison. Colin Turner invites his brother David, a struggling writer, to a party named GROOVE, sending both brothers on an adventure they will never forget. After Colin shockingly proposes to his girlfriend and everyone's ecstasy begins to kick in, new relationships are formed while old ones are challenged. The resulting encounters teach everyone involved a valuable lesson about their place in the world.

Yeah, that's a lot less than i payed for my copy, but then again i got it from Virgin because i wanted to watch it that night.

well, its about the coming together of a rave event...and more

all i know is that my younger sister (who used to frequent these things YEARSSS ago when there were less regulation) would tell me about going into empty warehouses and shiet that would hold those gigantic raves in other states. Watching this just made me more able to envision those events as she spoke.

the movie is <3. lol. CLASSIC. and totally sums up the feeling of going TO a party...the meeting once again with your party friends, dancing to your heart's content...then leaving on a high note. It's *innocent* yet *knowing* all at once -- and im sure everyone can relate to it on some level. I can't tell you how many times ive driven home after a GREAT party, feeling really happy and the last scenes of the movie would just play over into my mind. its that REALLY SERENE feeling of nothing but utter joy and contentment i started out with raves...and there will always be something about 'raves' to me

its all about P.L.U.R. (well even if its not as ideal as it was a LONG time ago) but i would love to think that it still exists in each and every one of us.
