how many ELECTRONICA mp3s yous got?

hi i was just wondering how many Trance mp3s and mostly of what you guys have like for instance i used to have a 15 gig so i only had about 9 gig of trance but recently i bought a 40 gig so now i have around 20 gig (from all my cds and what not) broken up into about 9 gig of singles 5 gig of sets and about 8 gigs of albums id like to cut some stuff of ie my divx movies and fill it all up but i was just wondering how much you guys have
btw im talking like proper 192/kbit rips of quality tracks well i suppose if they wernt quality you wouldnt have em on your hdd or would you? anyway im very curious to find out what some of ya have

OK I have 14 GB of quality trance/techno/house trax on MP3 CDs
8 GB I lost a month ago because of HD crash
& now I have on my new (18GB)HD 2GB of quality trax & I have only 56k modem
& I'm proud to be a trance freak !!!

i have a 30gb storage drive on my computer at home. 14 gbs are electronica mp3s, mostly trance. 10gb make up all the mixes i have, while the other 4gb are singles. i have about 10 cds full of essential mixes in mp3 format i had to burn to free up space. heh. and a 215cd case almost full of burned mixes, wav format.

and average??? no way man
my average is 80-90 tracks per cd 80min/cds
unless u have all tracks of 4 minutes each

Ive about 60 gigs of trance/house/....

At this moment 10,646 MP3s (and counting)... don't know how many gigs is that, cuz most of that stuff is on CDs.

i have over 4000+ mp3s and almost 300 trance videos. i got almost every video for all of my songs that i like. this equal to 100+ cdrs with mp3s and 30+ cdrs with videos. i always back up in case there is no trance left.

downloaded a lot more, but more than 1/2 of my mp3z I delete immediately becouse they are not good enough. I only keep the good tracks

I've got cable now, but when I had a 28k , damn that thing! I must have downloaded around 5,000 songs with it, thats dedication let me tell ya , right now I just have two gigs, I usually burn the good stuff on cds, and trash 75% of the crap, I am a good filter for bad music there is no point in having "140 gigs" because you can only listen to one song at a time, enjoy them, dont rush through them... ehh its kinda like life, only not really

Puuuhlease! Maybe no point for you but for others such as myself... YES!

Its your own opinion that you don't need that much, I on the other hand have built up my collection over quite a bit of time. I have a lot of stuff that brings back memories such as an Ellis Dee set from '93 (listened to it yesterday Yummy!), and others. I know everything on my computer and enjoy listening to different things at different times I'm an addict, I just can't get enough music EVER!

I hate having all my stuff on my computer...so i burn evrything once i get it....and USUALLY 99% of the time i will burn 2 copies of every set or CD that i get...for a back-up copy...so basically i have 2 of every thing i have just in case i screw up the original....

so i have 726 Trance CDs...well actually 1552 CDs since i have doubles of everything...i just dont keep anything on my computer....i am weird like that...

Dunno what kind mp3s you're talking about mate, but it can't be trance can it? You'd be lucky to fit even 80 trance tunes on a single (700 meg) mp3 cd. That's assuming a rough average of about 7 mins 30 and 192kbps bitrate each tune... and let's face it, what's the point of ripping anything at a lower bitrate than 192kbps? Unless it's Britney Spears and such, where the quality is already piss poor!!
