Doru has died but his labor never!

My name is Daniel Sprianu , Doru Malaia"s friend. In January 2005 after more investigations I found out
than my friend suffers from lungs cancer and doctors gave him only a year to live.My friend did everything
that a man can do to live better but worked on his projects.At 10.02.2006 my friend passed away(died).Just eleven hours before dying he paralyzed and he wasn"t able to speak anymore.Altough little time before dying he told me to take over his buisness(we didn"t expect him to die so fast) .I'm sorry for this,,,, . He has created an imaginary on line persona called Doru, who is always on the edge of death and saying he does things for free all the time, whilst having a credible online CV stating that he is a director of Romanian music conventions, and writes music scores etc etc, the reason he chose to create a romanian imaginary character was quite simply not many people can readily veryify the credentials of this made up musician.

Kagi.com (his credit/transaction merchant does not require verification of its merchants (similar to western union payment system) if "doru"/Jason Falk? had used paypal to transact he would have had to be verified by them after he transacted over �500 - ie paypal make you prove who you are -+ buyers would have been able to see his real USA name and address....with Kagi paymentsnone of this is required.

I read on reasonstation when doru started to sell his cds in the first month he sold over 1000 sample CD's @ $29 USD = $29,000 USD. based on free confidence tricking methods via free advertising on reasonstation and sympathy votes (since 1998). I would imagine he has made over $250,000 USD from this whole confidence trick/scam. It is tricky to prove it is Jason Falk who actually did this. I imagine it is him, as he quickly registered www.dorumalai2.com after he realised his name and address was freely avaialble on the "who is" database. On DM2.com he gave the romanian address of the guy he got to post CDs out/post messages on forums. still the IP on" who is" records of the registrant is that of an american/not romanian.

Seems like some major scam.

Well this is all odd, about Doru being a scam. Hope someone can get to the bottom of it. The big question now is, are the Doru samples legal to use in productions? I mean if Doru is truly a scammer and stole all those samples, their could be copyright issues. I just built a whole song around some of the Doro vocal samples. The vocals are easily recognizable I'm sure, so anyone who knows their original source could spot them. Guess I'll have to sit on this for a while and see what the verdict is.

this is pure bollox..simple...how can ppl say rip.how old was he? its just bout making money..this is to much to take in.show us the death cert.

hey let's wait untill there's some more news about it. There are several theories about this right now ranking goes from good to evil :

a) he died and truly was a good person contributing a lot to the community
b) he died and was a good person but now dishonest people are trying to make money of his death
c) all the dying stuff was a big marketing stunt, he's still alive and might even have never existed
d) extension to c : all the samples are ripped

Thing is there's absolutely no prove to believe a-b-c-d.
Some things are really strange, like the guy that called to the number on his site. He asked for doru, the man on the phone had never heard of him. Then again his name is in the telephone index from romania. I do hope this gets cleared up, if only to clean his name from all the crap if he really passed away (especially on other boards)

I've read through the thread on trance.nu. It's too easy to pull of scams like that.
I've seen a couple of more suspicious things.

In a thread on the KVR forums, the friend of Doru gives out his family's email addresses.
Strangely all of them are highly available, free Internet email accounts.
A quick google on "Cristina Malaia" gives 2 results, strangely both are posts by Daniel.
I also goggled the other email addresses, and strangely, the same two forum topics appeared.
As for the third one belonging to Daniel, I got a couple of hits. Most of them are hits that also contains a link to Doru's page.

Well, I don't really know what's true, but something smells fishy!
