[REVIEW] Ali 'Dubfire' of Deep Dish @ Avalon-Boston 3/10/06
Great night last night! A bit crowded for my tastes but beyond that, music was on point! Ali threw down a good interesting set with a lot of nice tunes, most of which I can't really ID because that's not usually the primary music I listen to... However, it was good, the decorations were pretty nice, as were the lasers!!!!! Whether they brought them back for one night or for good, that was a nice part to the night, as was Ali playing 3 encore songs... He played till about 2:10-15.. Which was awesome, and then talked to some fans, I got to get a pic with him (pictures posted later)... Overall a good night
PS, GU i had a couple of friends go who didn't prebuy tickets, and they closed guestlist and jacked up prices to $30/head and they had to wait for an hour in a guestlist ot find that out... so yeah... Made me feel glad to have waited all of 2 minutes in line with a bought ticket and not having to wait
Who's in for Ferry next week
Ferry it is
Im bringing my vinyl for Ferry to sign next week :-D
Yeah awesome time last night. The end was fun also
wow dubfire was on last night....he was throwin down sick beats after beats...it was more crowded then i thought it would be but that really doesnt bother me that much...anyone know the song he played that was "it only thunders when it rains" then the lights when on and place whent crazy and then a guy was saying "1 love..music"....anyways on to ferry next week
Hey Jpepps, looks like you're from around the area. I see you're going to see Gabriel & Dresden in CT. You should come to the RISE April 14, they'll be spinnin there. Proper 4-5 hour set too

Now that was a fun night from the parts I can remember
Dubfire really did a great job from what I heard. I was mostly in the Nuroom getting drunk as all hell with my friends but the short times that I spent on the dancefloor were pretty fun. It was awesome to have that laser. I hope it's a permanent thing. Dubfire really got the crowd into it especially after midnight. Vodka Redbulls + Grateful deads
Trainspots :
Royksopp - What Else Is There (Trentemoller Remix)
Deep Dish - Dreams (Axwell Remix)
Deep Dish - Say Hello
