New Super Mario Brothers

Anyone else tremendously looking forward to this game?

The Latest Screenshots

While looking through the new shots, I noticed something interesting, to say the least. Seems that Nintendo's worked in a re-work of the original first stage of Super Mario Brothers!

Looking great.

It is indeed for the Nintendo DS.

Note: Not of the gameboy handheld line.

looks like a remake of smb1!

i doubt they'd just remake a portion of a stage

...nintendo loves the remakes

Looks cool, But kind of disapointing. I was kind of hoping they make another Super Mario 64.

considering it's for a handheld platform, I think that too much could make it way too hard to keep up with. Simple is best in cases such as this

Bahaha. They've brought back launching pipes! The last time we saw those were in Super Mario World... And even then, they wouldn't automatically launch you. You had to go through some underground passage to a pipe exit.

Can't wait!

That looks REALLY impressive.

i want this so much , but i am not able it to buy it...Looks like a remake of one of my all time fav , Mario World.

looks fun. mario seems to slide a lot though when changing direction.
the only thing I can add is I hear that the plants that come out of the pipes to bite you can now lean into you.

Rest assured. This game is NOT a remake.

geez the graphics looked so weak as hell ,looks like a super mario bros 1 with some tweaks and different backgrounds,
anyways i began playing games with the original super mario bro's back in the 80's ,so im going to rent or borrow a nds to play this game, see what it looks like,so far i dont see nothing new or something that may stand up ,but its goin to be kool remenber the 80's.
i guess.

all I have to say after the last mario on snes the one that was rpg style, I just can't see any other game toping that. I mean I liked the 64 one but I loved the snes rpg style one. Mario is the golden italian boy of all times.
