I love Bonzai Records! Anything new from them..?

I have come to the conclusion that I really love a lot of stuff from Bonzai Records. They're a great label! Don't you think?

Can you tell me some of the releases from them that are relatively new (i.e. from 2001)?

Apparently they've just released:
Yves Deruyter - Music Non-Stop (remixes)
I listened to a RealAudio sample of it, and it's great!

Also, do they have a site?

Yeah, as djcresto said, the new Push single will be released in March. It's a 2002 club mix of "Tranzy state of mind", wich includes the Svenson & Gielen remix of "The Leagcy". That'll be a vinyl definately worth getting.

If you go to M.I.K.E.'s site, you can listen to a clip from Tranzy state of mind

I'm checking out that dreamwaver-liquid , i haven't heard of it before..or..well..who's behind it anyway ?

I came to the forum just to post something about the coming release of the new Fire & Ice, hehe, DJ Cresto was faster

Btw i have a question for big Bonzai-fans...those who've been into it for a long time (i love Bonzai music since '96)

We talked about that during the chatsessions on the site last year already, but who knows exactly why Axel Stephenson doesn't produce anymore ?
He was the leading Bonzai artist from '92 to '95...
I read that he's now working in a car-factory or whatever...why ?

I really loved what that guy produced (all the Rebirth stuff for example)...it's too bad he's not around anymore.
Yves Deruyter is still producing after 10 years of work for Bonzai
Stephenson was a bit like the L-vee of nowadays

So if you have any info...

Also, about Yves DeRuyter: he is 1/2 of "Push" (with M.I.K.E.). His new track, "Music Non-Stop," is excellent! I already ordered the vinyl

He is a Bonzai artist, and one of his projects is "Quadran," which wrote the anthem "Unlovable" (IMO, one of the best songs ever).

They always worked toegther before ( see Jones & Stepehenson - The First Rebirth)
I know Franky Jones is still around though

To Eugene : yeah Philippe van Mullem is great !
Try getting Sugar of Life, La 7eme Note, Tethys, they're all good tracks

He's a great producer. Produces more progressive trance. If you like philip van mullem try to find the cd bonzai trance progressive

M.i.k.e. is half of Yves Deruyter

but Yves Deruyter has nothing to do with push

I got to know bonzai when they released "thunderball - bonzai channel one" produced by jan vervloet (fiocco, scoop)

I think it was in 1994

As for the 2nd Rebirth...well, it's almost as old as the 1st one, you know?
The 1st Rebirth was released back in '93, then the 2nd Rebirth in 1994, then the 3rd, the 4th in '95 (all killer tracks ! get them all ! (hehe, sounds like Pokemon))
And at last the final Rebirth in '97

There are many other tracks produced by him obviously
Anyway, i read that new mixes of the 1st rebirth will be released in a couple of months, by : Liquid Overdose rmx, Airwave rmx, Baby Doc rmx

to be honest Bonzai sucks most of the time ...i dont really like it so much ..but the recent release wasnt that bad its was a MIKE production called Time Warriors i beleive or something in that nature ..it was not bad

Ok, that's just your opinion obviously, but i find hard to accept that you say Bonzai suck most of the time...
man...all those great releases...Fire & Ice, Push, all L-vee stuff (Airwave, The Green Martian...)

I think you're going to get flammed by Bonzai-lovers, hehe
but let's not start a fight over that...

Anyway, to me, Bonzai is one of the best labels ever
and it'll be its 10th anniversary in October this year !
