you know what this reminds me of a little? StereoLab. Which could be a very good thing for you.

I would go with that maybe if you want. Like improve the drum quality, a lot. Maybe heavy flanger or reverb on the pluck lead. The whole thing is very nice, but dull and flat as it is. More gates and shimmer. And best of all a female singer would be awesome. If you you are going to have everything that simple and pretty, maybe you need some vocal interest to top it off.

That's my opinion anyway.

Hi,
Well dude, you cannot expect too much feedback with such a short sample like this, the drums definitaly needs work with the mixdown, usually this kind of genre uses the 80's classic mixdown for the drums, very crispy and powerful, and a bit of reverb on the snare and a nice compression.
In overall, you have good ideas, the mixdown is bad and the sample is too short like to give you a real opinion about the build up, etc, but the tune itself has potential for to be a really good old school Ambient tune with some work, keep it up.
Kopi =o.

funny, i actually added a great amount of reverb and there actually crisp. hmmm must be the quality of the sample i guess (yeah i know it sucks), but oh well my fault. errmmm i think i just didnt pay much attention to the percussion when i mixed it in.

anywho thanks for the feeback, greatly appreciated, and thank you 'Majutsu' for le comments, appreciated as well.

yea mate the sample is poor everything seems muddled. although some nice sounds going on. drums could be more fulfilling. Maybe an extended higher quality sample i could give better feedback.
