Female Arabian Vocalist....

Hey, I wonder if anyone in this forum knows a vocalist who can sing arabian style, I'm working on a track with Mid East influences, and I'd like to get a hold of a vocalist of that type to collaborate, or if there is any vocalist here who can perform for this kind of project, I wouldn't mind at all.

I'm working on a track called Casa Blanco myself by coincidence. Bit of Arabian flamenco style intro.

I haven't had any luck so far. But I'm going at it posting ads on forums like on www.marok.nl or www.mahreb.nl. But it realy depends on where you live.

They seem to eather want to sing, can sing or dare to sing. Never all at the same time. I'v had loads of reactions, but most of them are more into R&B and have a too modern style for what I want.

Most girls that replied are quite young and quite a lot have family and cultural influences that prevent them from undertaking such ventures. I spent a lot of time writing emails explaining the nature of my music and that I intended to brigde cultural bariers with it. Not just to bring someones daugter into a life of outragious partying and godlessness.

I love your incentive hear m8. Great minds think alike. Keep me posted on the finished production, i'm very much interested.

kind regards,

Charlie Darwin

Coolness, yeah I think it will be difficult to get a vocalist with foreign musical influences, and the chances are narrower when it comes to styles of music. Same happened when I tried to find a bulgarian singer, no luck, since most academic singers don't like the idea to sing to E. dance music.

*sighs*
