Thumbs up Deep Melodic Mix: Beat to Sleep

Beat to Sleep

I just got ten new records for this mix and I have to say this set tops anything I have ever done. Also it is the first mix I have ever done using all new tracks (most are within 1 month old). Come to think of it this may be the first mix I have ever done with out a Sasha track lol, so its a lil' different than my previous work. Feel free to download and listen, also any comments are appreciated.

I dont like breaks a whole lot and in fact I rarely listen to it, but after listening to your set I have a bit more respect for it now because you showed me another side of breaks that I have never heard of. You represented the music very well and I commend you for that. Also I would imagine for anyone whos into progressive breaks that this would make for a great listen.

Rasta

Thanks man that means alot to me. Yeah I am very experimental when I mix and I am really selective about the tracks I include. I can't stand most of the party or bangiging club breaks that are out. I like the melodic, musical, (trancey if you will) breaks so this mix is very different than the mainstream sets out there. I actually have a yousendit mix thats going to be a limited downoad that you might enjoy, as it is more 4/4 but laid back:

Clarity

1. Spooky- Sustain
2. Bijork- An Echo A Stain (Luke Chable and Chris Gainer Remix)
3. Deepsky- Metro
4. Staircase- Vapour Trails
5. James Holden- I Have Put Out The Light
6. BT- Fibonacci Sequence
7. Stephan Anion- Orion's Belt
9. Kosmas Epsilon & Stel VS. Funk Da Void- Innocent Thoughts/ All That Matters (Sasha's Fundacion Mashup)
10 Radiohead- Idiotheque (Dj Shadow Mix)
11 Radiohead- The Gloaming (DJ Shadow Remix)

10/10
Wow, youre pretty consistent you know that. This is the second set I heard from you and its great. I dont think I need to bore you with dj jargon/commentary because this set has already proven to be one of the best trance mixes Ive heard for 2006. Thanks again for this gem!

Thanks alot man. I've got a breaks remix of Derek Howell's track called "Yah Yah" coming out pretty soon so keep on the lookout for that, it turned out pretty hot.
