where to get flash?

Hey all, I'm working on a website right now and the person who I'm doing it for really wants it done in flash...which I haven't ever used before. So, I'm wondering if anyone here can tell me how to get the program to make it with (as I don't even know what the program is called or where to look)

The trial version has all the functions, but only lasts for 30 days. If you get a crack then you have the full version...
