Pitch bend in FLStudio??
I had a little search and couldn't find anything in the forums before someone replies with a link to the 'How To: Pitch Bend in FLStudio' topic
Pitch bend is something I rarely use but the fact that I cant do it just annoys me!! There must be a way to automate the parameter somehow to affect a VSTi like, say Pro-53? So if I wanted a big fat synth chord to bend down one octave over 1 bar, how would I execute this in FL Studio?
The slide in Piano Roll works on a few standard FL Synths but is there a way to do this to VSTi's??......

Thanks a lot pal, im not too familiar with the midi out channel but it cant be too hard to figure out.. Ive actually been playing around with the pitch and tune parameters and have indirectly come up with some peachy little melo's!..
It seems strange tho - dont you think? - that such a traditional technique can be so hard in modern sequencers such as FL.. Im sure there will be a way to configure the portamento controller number of the vst to something..
Cheers mate
What i've done in the past is automate the pitch knob. I dont know for sure that this works for Pro 53, but try it. You can fiddle with that knob, then click the button in the top left corner of the VST window. Select 'Last Tweaked Parameter' and create an automation clip. Then just put the automation clip below the section you want the bend in. If you dont know how to use automation clips check out the tutorials on flstudio.com Not sure if you knew how to do that, but maybe it will help you.

I use a fruity controler to automate the pitch knob. First I try a real time run through, then I automate it. I had never used pitch bend before, but a few weeks ago I wanted to use it in a track. Set the numbers by the pitch bend way up high, I forget what that's called, so you can bend a whole or half step. I set the control up so it works like a pitch bend on a midi keyboard.
