All ASOT fans, download this set
Ok theres a lot of hardcore Armin fans on this board who bow down before ASOT.
ASOT may be trance, but theres better trance out there.
So I thought I'd post John 00 Flemings latest Global Trance Grooves set in here, to show ASOT fans what they're missing out on
I suggest everyone listens to this set. Its mint, and is full of IDs. Well worth a download. Starts off fairly slow, and is downright banging towards the end. Its not overly psy either. A few influences, but nothing full-on in there.
I wont post the tracklist here (what little there is IDed anyway). I suggest you listen to the set through, then find the tracklist in the other forum.

Ok its Rapidshare, I know a lot of people dont like Rapidshare, but its the only one I know of with no download/bandwidth limits and no deletion after 1 or 2 weeks. They only delete after 30 days with no download.
Leftclick the link, scroll down, select 'free'. Wait for about 60 seconds like it tells you. Enter the little code above the table like it tells you, then click 'download from netmirror alpha/omega'.
If it doesnt work, try again. If it REFUSES to work, try again ON THE HOUR, say at exactly 12:00. They have hourly bandwidth limits, so try that.
Enjoy
i'll check it out, thanks m8.
cool thanks man. Never heard a Flemming set before to be honest.
but you should check out yousendit.com... the site u use to upload is awful
Who is the guest DJ?

You should all check out J00F and follow his show GTG every second Tuesday of the month.
This was a great GTG-episode, the episode before this one was also amazing, ah It's all great stuff so keep on checking it out.

the first half sounds like quality stuff, and i'd love to get hold of the tunes individually & check out more by the respective artists & labels... but with the state of the 'tracklist' at present i doubt that's going to happen :/
2nd half is too psy for me. i like the mood of it but can't stand all the blippy kickdrums & silly acidy sounds... to each their own
j00f is one of the most talented djs out there -- if you have a chance to see him, you should absolutely make a point to attend.

Oh I like this surprisingly!
THE_Chris: I always found it kinda funny how obsessed you are with especially J00f, never really got it. I d/led the 2 previous J00f sets from the ID-hunt thread, but didn't feel & like that. But this is nice
real belter of a set. that remix of Juno Reactor - God is God is awesome. anyone know which one it is?

wow excelent0 post the_chris!

I'm not an ASOT fan but I will def download this
Oh please...
i have'nt heard this set yet but JOOF has NEVER suprised me and interduced me to new, creative and good tracks like ASOT episodes did(not all of ASOT tracks of course...about 35% of the new ASOT tracks)
ASOT was the Alternative to JOOF not the other way around, thats why Armin's got more listeners.

I fucking hate John 00 Fleming and his 'intelligent trance.'

| Originally posted by RebeL9 I don't get you. ASOT is the show which plays very similar stuff as many other stations. J00F plays his distinctive sound. It's not that people started listening to J00F first and left for ASOT. ASOT is also older than J00Fs GTG show |

Mikey mike STFU you like nothing man except stuff from 1995.

| Originally posted by Viber Exactly,ASOT now plays mainstream tracks - almost the same tracks that other shows now play meaning the "distinctive asot sound" is now "not so special because it is played on more shows. I think that people did started listening to J00F first and left for ASOT - i know i did,i just heard more innovative tracks(covered by alot of same-ol' tracks) on Armin ASOTS than in JOOF sets. In addition, even if ASOT is older J00F is still playing the same kind of stuff as hed did before ASOT started for all i remember so it does'nt matter if you call it GTG show or the JOOF Essential mix from 2001. Just to be clear im not in loved with ASOT or something i just like it more than JOOf shows. |
