dirty mind-fucking electro-tinged house music... i saw him last summer for the first time without really knowing anything about him (other than the fact that many TAs spoke very highly of him), and that night instantly turned me into a Lee fan. plus he's a super nice guy and he likes to make silly faces.

i say go see him!

What the hell are you talking about? Cielo is hardly a high priced venue. Covers there are usually lower than the megaclubs in NYC. Drinks are cheaper there, too. They also have one of the best sound systems in all of NYC. Right now, it's probably my favorite club in New York because the crowd is good, with most of the attendees knowing about the DJ/music, not full of guidos, cracked out FOBS, and underaged kids like Crobar, Spirit and Avalon.

His CD on Sander's Everybody on Tour comp is really good, though it's getting dated by now.

Oh, to people responding, Howells is the same night @ Crobar so take that into account when offering advice.

All that said, my girlfriend and I will be there.

Saw him at Sound-Bar in Chicago. Very dirty, funky electro. I had a blast.

Really? Could you name some of your favourites?

People on this forum need to stop using the term 'electro' so loosely. Lee Burridge doesn't play 'electro.' He plays a very broad spectrum of house. I like Lee Burridge a lot. He meets the criteria I expect from a DJ of his stature, with a decent and varied playlist everytime, plus the technical skill and flair to put it together. Go see him, but don't expect 'electro.'

Hes more acid than anything else. A fuckin good DJ though. I mean...anyone who drops Club Therapy is A+ in my book.

Looking forward to seeing Lee give Sasha a run for his money at Fundacion next month.

Meat Packing District (Little W. 12th St.), right around the corner from Pastis and the Hotel Gansevoort. Basically, go to 14th St. & 9th Ave. and walk south while veering west.

he plays the whole house spectrum, that's probably the most exact classification you're gonna get.
he used to be very much on the acid side of the spectrum, but always filled with "electro", tech, prog. some techno. and more so recetly, some minimal added; it's varied, it's all over.
go for the flow and the vibe, not genre.

otherwise, he plays very much like me, so i love it.

i finally brought Club Therapy out on another system, btw, Clovis; found out the other one wasn't digital. this one was, and the bassline, it killed.

i want to see lee

yeah he def doesnt play electro.

its like a loose darkish style of house and prog, saw him at the cave in Sydney a few weeks back, the set was put up on the net if you look for it.

top set, great progression, had the place packed and rocking!

haha
