Two of my own productions

Just wanted to share two of my own productions. Would appreciate some feedbacks on it.

1. Summer Sunset
2. CrossRoads

My page with two productions

Bomb, I'm the first to listen to crossroads!

With such an atmospheric melody in the begginning it's distracting to have such a harsh, in your face snare. 909 snare might not suit the track either but the only real qualm I have is with the intro.

I would use something more acoustic sounding and whether you do that or not, I would still add some reverb to it.

And at the end the kick goes on for a long time. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but it would sound awesome going out on the melody it came in with. It almost does that except for the snare.

[edit]

On the other track I'd beef up the kick. Perhaps bring in the hats more, but ratio down the delay on them if you do. It sounds like it could really bounce. If you want to go that direction, could try sidechaining the bass. I think it would sound pretty nice with the long bass notes.

Like I said, if you wanted it to pump, those changes could do it. Really atmospheric, really nice. I like your style of music.

I edited my post before your last.

Yah, but normally there's more interest to the ending, kindof like how you dealt with the kick in your other song, the reverb.

I think the song just works so well with that melody it could end perfectly with it. It's already set up to do it too.
