ANAHEIM, Calif. - A gunman opened fire early Friday at a Denny's restaurant, killing one man and seriously wounding another, police said. It was the third fatal shooting at the restaurant chain in Southern California this week.

The 2:45 a.m. shooting happened after a fight between two large groups inside the restaurant, said Sgt. Rick Martinez of the Anaheim Police Department.

One victim re-entered the restaurant after being shot and died inside, Martinez said. The other victim was taken to a hospital and was expected to survive.

The gunman was being sought by authorities. The shooting did not appear to be gang-related, Martinez said.

The shooting was the third in a Southern California Denny's in three days. In Pismo Beach on Wednesday, a transient with two guns walked into the restaurant at lunchtime, fatally shot two men and wounded a married couple before committing suicide.

And in Ontario, a 37-year-old man was fatally shot in a Denny's parking lot Thursday after a fight. The gunman was still being sought.

Wtf is going on with Dennys? I doubt Ill go to the Pismo one again, though mostly cause I dislike Dennys except when Im drunk lol

No, waffle house ftw! nothing like waffle house like 4 in the morning after a night of drinking. everything fried with cheese and grits, mmmmmmmm. i miss southern cooking!

I just ate at waffle house for the first time ever a little less than a month ago. There is seriously a waffle house off of every exit in FL and GA. I also saw a nude buffet on the way to Atlanta in the middle of no where.

I saw some of the strangest things on the drive from Jacksonville, FL to Atlanta. I saw showers at gas stations, cologne machines on the wall, boiled peanuts, gas stations that allow you to pump gas and pay AFTER! I also got a lot of weird looks when we were out in the country.

yeah south georgia is quite unusual and some very strange things can be seen there. there are really great parts too though. you just drove through some of the twilight zone areas i'm sure. what were you doing out there?

I was visiting my girlfriend Mary. South Georgia doesn't take kindly to a mexican holding hands with a fair skinned girl. I seriously feared for my life a few times. We walked into a gas station and there was a crowd of truckers talking and laughing, then they saw us and they all got quiete and started starring me down
