forgive me for asking this n00b question, but how are these mp3's allowed since i have actually purchased one or two of the tracks up for download...

First off these songs are so old, and though back in the day, they were probably not legally posted, but now its a dead thing to talk about. The artists are no longer making any sort of money off these tunes at the moment and they serve as great reminders for people who love trance, what was what few years back. For those just stumbling across TA for the first time, new to trance, they allow nothing less than a perfect introduction to the genre.
