The Best All in one music Production Software (vote)
what do you use, why is it the best for production and lets vote on it
Can't you add one that sais "I don't believe in all-in-one solutions" ?
Yeah dude, i agree with pjotr. I cant really say i only like and use one of those softwares.Truth is, i have every single one of them, and hundreds of other programs, and i still am not satisfied.
Its just all about mixin and matchin when ure makin music.
well I voted for reason, but I havent tried out ORION PRO
There is no place for me to get it
(((( oh well Im must be lucky to have reason
i use reason because i like it better than fruityloops except for the lack of vst..but i can use cubase as well.........ive never tried Orion but i get the impression that its pretty good.....so, reason gets my vote
Well, I voted for Reason, as I think it's absolutely the best of the all in one packages, but I prefer using cubase or logic together with it, and some vst instruments. I think it's much more flexible
Peace
i voted for fruityloops
because, i think its a very powerful program, when used along with other vst instruments, like pro52,fm7,abysnth,pentagon,junglist,etc
and if you know how to use all its features, then you can produce anything you want.
want a good example of what fruityloops is capable of
then check out this guys work

Fruityloops.
I dont need anything else.
So if you only use fruity loops...you never edit or record your own samples?
or has fruity loops nowadays also got a very decent sample editor? (hey I'm still at version old.old)
OR do you only use samples others made.
fruityloops now has its own sound editor program, can compare with sound forge, or wavelab though
but its not bad
ez editor or something its called

I use Fruityloops to MAKE MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I use CoolEdit ti EDIT SOUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont make music in CoolEdit!!!!!!
And an other thing, do u want me to build my own fucking synth...what a fuck is wrong with using synth sounds from cdz instead of buying the synth???
IT`S THE SAME MOTHERFUCKING THING!!!!!!!!!!!! IT SOUNDS THE SAME!!!!!
LOOK!!! I`M gonna attact a synth sound here, thats the kinds of sounds I use.
Now, go make a song with it.......Goodluck.....
This sample talk makes me fucking angry!!! Everybody is trying aaeruiaerh,.........fuck it!!!!!!!!!
damn.....attachment didnt work!
Anyways.....I just wanted to say that.

Cheers.
nothing wrong with that robster
i dont really use synth samples, i prefer to make my own synth sounds, by tweaking alot of soft synths i use, it can be pretty hard to get a good sound going though
but there is nothing wrong with what your doing, your tunes still rock!

All in one music production software....listen to it.
Spend some money on steinberg products instead...and a hardware synth
Fiskelime
[Rockagill]
Norway
i know u were not angry at me
i just thought id anwser anyway
and yea fm7 is prolly the best of one of the best soft synths around

yea fm7 is great for simple synths/strings....
but whats good for bass strings/synths? I just can't find the right one
hehe too many faces.
FM7 thingy does DX-7....you can get kick ass bass out of that so
yea thats what i was gonna say
the fm7 is great for bass sounds
but fm synths are very hard to program.
If you're content with the sounds of the built in reason gear, and you can tolerate that retched sequencer, I would say reason without a doubt. If I can use all my plug-ins...especially reaktor 3, I would go with orion pro, because it's a really easy to use, but powerful sequencer. The bassline synth is really, really good for 303 action, and the sampler is great, but the other synths in orion pro are pretty weak sounding.
Well i think reason is the best all in one prog from the beginning
but on the other hand Fruityloops can be upgraded 100x with differnet synth progs and stuff!
I like using hardware synths better than sample CD's just cause you have so much more control. I doubt that you can change as many paramaters of a sample, as u can on a real synth.. for example: Arpeggiator (and full menu controls, octave range, Sync, Fill in, gate time), real time modulation of pitch, width, sync, and softness for 2 lfo's, and 3 envelopes.. freq and res of 2 lfo's and 3 envelopes per sound... not to mention real time effects tweaking, eqing, and vocoding. Then throwing in 8 multitimeral parts to play at once, giving your sound an amazingly thick feel. Personally, I think all this COMPLETELY outweighs a sample cd of synth patches. I got a supernova, and I love this thing so much. I used to use softsynths, but not after buying this beast.
...but in regards to the topic, I like Reason the best (despite I only use it for drums now) ..But I use Cakewalk SONAR to sequence my stuff.. and to add some fx.
Hi there... Just wanted to say I personally ONLY use reason. I think it's quite wonderful and it can do all the things I need. But I'd also like to mention that I've also got some hardware, though I hardly use it anymore. I got a yamaha CS2x and I've borrowed a roland Mc303.. I've never use the mc303 in any production and I only use my CS2x as a midicontroller and sometimes i sample some sounds from it. well, that's how i work...
