[REVIEW] Hernan at Crobar

Hernan is fucking dope. Such a great fucking style. Fun partying with everyone. Ummm... yeah. That's my review. Two tracks I remember:

hernan threw it down hard last night. great to see so many people, shellshock and dani, thero, pyro, tom, maximum, sid, shamez, arnold, ryan and christina but the real question is... WHERE THE HELL WAS MATT AND RICK? I thought they were the whole premise to old school ta reunion....i'll wait for an explanation on this one LOL

Ha! Fucking word. John Creamer is boring man. Even as an opening dj. Blah. I hope for Hernan's next show, there's a cooler opener. Martin Garcia perhaps.

Creamer did play one of the Precious remixes. That was a cool part of the night because that's one of the few times we were all together.

Haha... so good. Hernan definitely laid down a quality set (at least until I left a little before 4) and yeah, creamer was just boring. Lots of space to dance and lots of familiar faces made for good times throughout though.

Where were matt and rick? Damn roll call starter didn't even show up...

great seeing alla ya'll of course.. i thought hernan was awesome, michi didnt tho. would have stayed longer but we were about to fall asleep on the dancefloor, we were so tired. :/

Oh, Christina and I both enjoyed John Creamer, sorry to hear some of you were bored. Third time seeing Hernan was probably the best I've seen him, would have stayed until the end, but we had to leave . He still doesn't excite me like some of the other guys that play similar to him, though.

We haven't been to Crobar since Sasha and the crowd on Friday was SOOOOO much better than that night. Lots of international flavor and very minimal guidos and crackies. The crowd was a bit more trendy looking which I know turns some of you off.

On a shitty note, one of our new clubbing friends got mugged at gunpoint going to Crobar walking from the ACE on like 29th and 9th or something. I couldn't believe he still came out (and they let him in without ID, not that he looks underaged), but he wanted to try to make the best of the night and forget about it. Pretty scary thought considering how many times we've walked through that area either afterwards or because we got out of the cab a few blocks early to have a cigarette.

Agreed. I really liked the crowd on Friday! Hope it's like that for all Hernan shows from now on.

i would have gone STRAIGHT to the police, filed a motherfucking report, then go STRAIGHT home, cancel all my credit cards, metro cards, bank cards, etc... WTF!!!!! lol that's dedication!

He did cancel all of his cards before he came in, so that wasn't really an issue. I don't think it was really dedication, more like trying to make the most of a shitty night rather than going home to dwell on it. Still, I would have probably come home had it been me.
