James Holden - I Have Put Out the Light (Blake Jarrell's remix)

was this released?

Posted by Cobalt on Mar-20-2006 01:22:

I've not heard this; I'll check it out.

I highly doubt any release, though.

Was Holden going to sue Blake Jarrell for remixing this track?

Posted by CHRles on Mar-20-2006 02:26:

Fuck the remix, the original is the one that owns me hard. Been in love with that one ever since Digweed first played it on his show, which was ages ago.

Posted by Toufas on Mar-20-2006 02:45:

seriously , it improves the original..

Posted by Cobalt on Mar-20-2006 03:33:

This remix is pretty hot!

I still like the original better, but as far as progressive breaks go, this is very nice.

No, he is fully aware that Blake did the remix, and was told right after it was done. Believe he was even given a copy.

I would LOVE to hear this, the original song is f***ing INCREDIBLE.

Posted by Toufas on Mar-20-2006 15:39:

i like the original as well, but i am a sucker for breaks..and this remix gives the original a boost of energy.

Posted by superironmonkey on Mar-20-2006 15:50:

So does anybody know the story on why Blake Jarrell named his mix the "I Will See You In Court Bootleg Breaks Mix"?

Ever heard of such a thing as a parody? It was a tongue in cheek name Blake gave to the mix when he did it.
