bse's weekend from hell

oh man. hey guys, what's new? everyone enjoying their weekend so far? i hope you are.. at least a few of are. do you guys want to know how bad my weekend has progressed? where should i start? how about when i bombed my gr. 13 english exam? or maybe when i got fired from my job because i was late? i can tell you about the monsterous fight i'm in with my parents.. or i could talk about what happened last night. the most scary drug experience of my life. we went to some dive party last night (first one in months) and they only had 350 tickets for sale. 300 early sales, and 50 tickets at the door. we got there at like 9:45 but it was already apparent that we wouldn't get in.. so we pretty much gave up. but we had already dosed.. so what were we going to do? my friend dan chewed his pill up (they were as thick as they were round.. they were insane) and quickly asked for some chaser to get that awful, awful taste out of his mouth (you experienced users will know what i'm talking about ) so yeah.. my moron friend handed him a fruitopia bottle (completely unmarked, no label or anything) of what he thought was water, but was actually GHB. he said he spat most of it out, but he knew the truth and was trying not to worry us. he started freaking out about 30 minutes later.. have you guys ever seen someone freak out on a huge overdose of GHB? scary, scary shit. imagine any friend of yours, screaming, crying, pounding his/her head, vomiting, thrashing and finally passing out in the hallway infront of the paramedics. we had called 911 and they had promptly showed up, unfortunately, what tragedy isn't complete without a visit from the 5-0? enter: the pigs. two fresh out of academy rookies show up, trying to be all bad ass show up, wondering that the situation is. they find out it's teenage drug use and immediately begin to drill us. they take us intot he apartment and search the living room, and find a "hash pipe". they inform us that we are under arrest for possession of a hashpipe. ha. sure guys. they were starting to piss me off and i was starting to rush on my e.. not a good combonation, let me tell you, especially when you have a big mouth like mine. needless to say they didn't like me, and decided that it was best to make an example of me. they had taken my i.d. earlier from my wallet and one officer had keenly noticed that my year of birth differed on my card from what i had given in my statement. bravo. *fishes out his court summons*..let's see.. "possess illegal licence" 100 bucks.. appear in court. they kept me in the back of the cruiser for 20 minutes, while they fumbled around trying to remember what law i had 'broken'.

officer hadley: "was it section 3?"
fat officer partner: "was it 3? i thought it 2.3a?"
officer hadley: "i don't know.. damn, the computer crashed again"
harley: "haha even the police used microsoft, eh?"
hadley: "what did you just say?"

so they wrote me up and sent me on my way. so yeah.. what did you guys do this weekend?

yeah, he's going to be alright. it's a good thing we called 911 last night, the guy we got the GHB off of said the best thing to do when someone freaks out like that is tie him down on his side and let his body work it off. but apparently his heart stopped twice last night. awful, awful stuff. there is a horrifying side to drug use, but we ignore it because it can never happen to us. welcome to the real world..

Lets see... i shaved my head, hung out with friends playing games, then went to a huge car get-together, then did a great barbecue with brisket and burgers, then played PS2 figher-pilot simulators, then played at a 3-level Laser-tag facility the size of 2 high-school gymnasiums, then played more PS2, and was with my girlfriend 100% of the time....

all in all, not bad. I feel for your friend. I try to avoid those situations by not doing drugs (i'm never the preacher on this, though... i just don't do them).

heheh, anyway hope your week holds better stuff in store for you.

Hey, about your friend.. Did he drink it too fast? Liquid GHB is brutally dangerous if you don't take it properly.

Hope he's ok and smartens you up a bit.. Abuse drugs and you play the piper.. or the harp.

dude, sorry to hear about that... sounds rough, but we all have our bad days, just laugh about it becuase, come on... life is funny!

lmao dude, of course he 'drank it too fast'. let me put the amount in perspective. now, normally a cap from a water bottle will suffice for a dose of GHB. however, the liquid was being kept in a fruitopia bottle. now, imagine that you had just chewed up a very gross pill and wanted to get that taste of of your mouth..how big of a gulp would you have taken? uck.

thanks for your concern guys, my friend's back to normal for the most part, i think he's still a little shaken up; but that's to be expected.

i understand what you were trying to say here, but i have to point out that this is an EXTREMELY bad way of figuring out your dose of ghb.

the problem with ghb is that the concentration is erratic, and could be different from one batch to the next. your normal dose may be 2 mL, with a certain concentration. however, another batch of ghb could be twice as concentrated, which means you take the same amount (a capful) and end up taking twice your dose, and thus, potentially od'ing, and death.

this is why if you deal with drugs such as this, you do the smart thing and buy 1-4-b, which essentially has the same effects of GHB, but has a regulated dose, which means your dose is your dose is your dose, and therefore, extremely hard to OD and die like it is on GHB.

personally, ill never touch GHB. too damn risky, its like playing roulette, with what the concentration might be.

i was wondering what Sothis had to say on this subject. i am indeed very sad to hear of your friend, i don't know what to say beyond that. please accept my utmost condolences.

but i must ask, was the death a direct cause from an overdose? or was that s/he passed out and asphyxiated? the latter is much more common in ghb-related deaths.
i've never heard of 1-4-b, and i'm not so sure that it's available here in my deadzone city. might as well go talk to my good friends at www.hyperreal.org.

overdosing is not uncommon in ghb-users, but the most you'll (generally) see is someone g'ing-out (kinda like passing out drunk) or getting nauseous. but that's beside the point; a drug is a drug is a drug. yaeh, i think i'm with you Sothis, i'm not touching that stuff ever again.

Erowid strongly recommends that all liquid GHB be colored with blue food coloring. This serves a dual purpose of reducing the chance that it will be mistaken for water, which though unlikely, does happen...as well as reducing the possibility that it can be added to a drink without someone's knowledge. An additional safety precaution when using GHB is to write "G" or "GHB" on your hand, so in the unfortunate event that you are found unconscious, those caring for you will know the cause. Be safe.

yea... he wasnt a good friend, but someone i knew (and most people knew) in the scene around here. good kid, didnt deserve death.

im not sure exactly what happened, but he took too much, went home, and his roommate found him later, dead.

as far as 14b, give me a bit of time and ill get you a link. its a chemical... and like i said, regulated dose. very common to get online.

www.camarklabs.com is one place but its expensive, there are cheaper places, normally tho you can get a liter for 80 dollars, which is tons and tons of doses.

so yea. if anyone is considering doing g, if you really need to do it, do 14b so you are safe.

hey, does 14b taste like ghb? i really hope not.. that is the most sick taste i've ever tasted. it's so salty it makes me want to wretch when i think of it.

scary note: i did some of the GHB that my friend had OD'd on last night.. my friend gave me a tad more than a cap (average dose) and i passed out.. so i can only imagine how much a gulp would hurt me.

Nice story BSE! Although the primary subject is somewhat of a despressing one, I commend you for having the personal strength to write it in this funny way. I actually laughed out loud at that m$-comment.
