"I'm not going to tell my mother about this until I receive the print. She's going to think I'm crazy," Josefa Maria Briceno, 35, told the Associated Press news agency. Tunick, 38, has been documenting groups of naked people in public places around the world since 1992. He carried out his largest photo shoot in June 2003 in Barcelona, when 7,000 volunteers stripped for the camera. He has been arrested several times while shooting in the United States.

Ok, I don't understand what stripping has to do with appreciating art/a hero. Can anyone offer some insight?

I think it looked rather cool, it's different for sure and different art is usually appreciated by many

Maybe they undress to give the naked man company.

What's funny is that the only country that ever gives him problems about this is his own (the US)... Nobody else has any objections.

I really dont understand the big deal in the U.S. about nudity. When I lived in Canada I lived right down the street from a public beach where women were "legally" topless every once in a while. No body made a huge deal about it.

It seemed that while it was legal for women to go topless in public, most didn't due to it possibly getting them attention they didn't want. Now when a 300 pound women went topless at the beach, that offended alot of people.

I really doubt the U.S. cares what he's saying after the comments Kim Jong of North Korea said today threatening pre-emptive strikes against the U.S. I'm starting to think this countries imperialistic attitude is provoking other countries to do us harm, while I also think that North Korea's dictator was already a faciast loonatic.

What public beach was that? Was it in Windsor? Wouldn't it be kind of cold there I imagine.

Cedar Beach south of Windsor, near Leamington. It's actually real warm there in the summer, a normal day in July is around 66 night / 83 afternoon ( and usually very humid ), and the water temp around 74. Because that part of Lake Erie is very shallow, those waters are the warmest in the Great Lakes in summer from solar heating. While that area is prone to severe storms, it's also very rare to get any extended periods of cloudy weather during the summer. The area is really no further north than is New York City, or Chicago.

That's not "real warm" !!! It gets into the 100's during the summer here.

THats canadians for you, im sure they think that anything above 0 K is just mildly chilly
