philly Club Glow Events

Yo. I'm in philly now, but i'm thinking of making it to DC for Sasha, G&D, and Armin. It says they play from 1-close. when is the close time for club glow?

and is anybody else thinking of going to these events?

Glow @ FUR usually closes between 3:45-4:00am. They will probably stay open past 4:00 for Armin.

when i've been there its been til 4:30 once and 5 the other. maybe just because it was deep dish?

It sounds like they don't really have a specific time when it closes, I guess when the club owner has had enough. Because when I was there Ferry was just telling the crowd he wasn't able to continue and it sounds like the same thing every time any other dj is there.

club glow closes at 4 am, however, for "gala" events (tiesto, sasha, armin) the club stays open later- pretty much until the dj wants to stop. the latest i have seen glow let a dj spin till was 6...but that is pretty rare.

for sasha, you can guarantee he'll spin till 5ish i'd say.

Wasn't that because some equipment was overheated due to an air conditioning malfunction or something?

yeah, he was supposed to keep spinning but things got f-ed up with that

haha, they aren't really in georgetown or dupont circle, where a lot of great clubs/bars/lounges are. it sucks when people come to dc just for fur because they literally see the shittiest part of it. there are some really great neighborhoods!

One time I was there I came back to my car and one was standing right next to it. Said that someone tried to break into my car and he stopped them and that he was standing next to my car all night.

there is always an afterparty there...

but i think they charge guys something ridiculous like $40 to get in. ALTHOUGH sometimes djs will go there afterwards, i know armin has before..
