what if today was your wedding?

what kind of music would be playing? if it was mine i know i wouldn't want to hear all of those old tracks i remember hearing at weddings but do i really think all of my relatives want to hear what i actually want to hear. i have no clue what i would do.

murder was the bass on a continuous loop, the only thing the dj needs to do is keep turning it up.

Armin of course since it would be our wedding)))))

trust me, you play what you want noone will dance except you unless you have a young crowd that are all into the same music.

old people will if they hear those pots n pans.

usually its the typical top40 from few years ago. michael jackson mixed in with the russian dance. heard it every week for a year and a half while working weddings.got the ppl dancing, usually they don't wanna hear anything new and unexpected, they want to hear the same old songs that they're familiar with so they can do their dance.

first off, it has to be DJ'd. I can't stomach those bands that sing cover tunes **barf**

you'd have to play something for everyone - you want all the guests to get up and dance - classics are always the best way to go. Bon Jovi, Shania Twain, Michael Jackson, some 80s, some 90s, some slow songs and most likely some Portuguese tunes to please my side of the family

Although i'd be jealous!! I would want to see this!
Soo...even though. . .jealous. .

NICE ANSWER!! !

lol

I think a cover band that swears an awful lot (where's that from, what movie?) would be fucking hilarious.

Posted by HypnotEyez on Mar-21-2006 01:50:

I'd prolly put a lot of nice tunes that have some significance for me...limited amount of stuff for the older crowd. I definitaly don't see my wedding without some good old trance

im guessing your wedding photo would have headphones in it too wouldn't it, lol

Posted by VERTiG0 on Mar-21-2006 02:11:

I know what song Kelly (dance2dabeat) would want!

Posted by Jem_hadar on Mar-21-2006 02:14:

I'll have a small, reasonably quaint wedding, ideally, so hopefully music that i truly appreciate will be played (assuming i have control over that... who knows what "responsibilities" the future-wife to be will delegat to you... LOL)

But my song:

"EVERYTHING I DO" - DOUBLE YOU

^^ Fuck the original!

I want my fucking HI-NRG EURO track!!!

DAMN RIGHT!

Jem

girls want songs like...

one.. you're like a dream come true..

two.. just wanna be with you..

three..

Posted by bourgeois on Mar-21-2006 02:16:

Hmmm, maybe.

But FORSURE you'd be able to see my wifebeater under my shirt.

My future wedding, if holding to specs, has me on a beach, in barefeet, sandles, dressed down... slacks, a nice shirt, a jacket.... but VERY casual image.... im going w/ navy blue in color... maybe a pin-stripe... plain white shirt for sure.... and a freshly died blonde surfer shag
