Question How ****ed are you, if you lost your cell phone?

How fucked are you, if you lost your cell phone?

Well, take it this way ... can you dail up your friend's numbers without using your saved contacts on your cell?

I couldn't do shit ... lol!

Special thanks to GSM Sim cards and PDA/Phones, all my contacts are saved and stored on my computer. If I do lose my cell one day (knock on wood it doesn;t happen) all my info is ready to be transferred over to the new unit.

i had my cell phone stolen 3 times LOL)))) so i know the feeling of not even remembering ur best friend's number

Posted by Mag1k on Mar-21-2006 14:39:

your not fucked at all anymore

I went through about 6 cell phones last year, the gayest thing is the wait between ordering the cell phone and waiting for it to come, feels like Xmass all over.

I had the important numbers saved.

Oh and you have to get new ringtones too. Thats sorta annoying too.

Considering that I don't even know my house phone number i'd be pretty screwed. Fortunatly I have all my contacts duplicated on my PDA and Outlook.

My celphone is the biggest hunk of crap. But without those numbers, I'd be a sad sad boy.

Speak for yourself..lol. I would be F**ked!!

This thread has made me consider getting some back up.

Posted by daves on Mar-21-2006 16:35:

i memorize all my numbers in my head... my head is weird that way... i actually forget to store a lot of number onto the phone

i lost my phone back in september, only problem was not having a mobile number for people to reach me... not a problem for contact stored on the phone though

Posted by Refinnej on Mar-21-2006 16:35:

I have a cellphone but it's no connected and that's how I like it I was addicted to texting and for a few weeks after I got it disconnected because it was too expensive, everything was ok. In fact I don't even mind not being able to be reached 24/7. The only thing I miss it for is when you are meeting someone somewhere..I can't text or call em up to see how long they will be etc.

I can't believe how much people rely on cell phones. My cell phone sits in my car and is only used for emergencies and text messages.
