kinda strange structure if u ask me...kind of minimal tribal or something.
I think your kick sound really "factory" in the beginning, and that bassline muds up the mix a lot to. Thats what wrecks for me.
And sorry to say but it doesn't have much flow to it at all...just my opin though.
For the overall sound of the track i think you should work on making it sound warmer, sounds way to raw.
very unique though, keep it up!

what do u mean about the kick? yeah structure is still in the works, just wanted to get an opinion on all the sounds and effects in it thus far yknow?

the bass is definatly not mixed or anything. thanks for the listen though!

Yeah..this is really hard to get into cuz it's so minimalistic. Your sounds, especially percs, sound too canned. I know what he meant, they sound to raw and need some reverbs and other effects. They're just too vanilla.
The bass is really too strong. And it's actually carrying the whole song...without it there's no music. Kinda weird.
It's different. I'll give you that!

i only like raw drums, over quantized and too much compturized drumms take away soul. something i try not to do when i make hip hop beats ala mos def - black on both sides albums. thanks however yeah not much of a melody for sure...yet

the bass is nice and big and low.

percs suit the track.. very chilled out and not too upfront. this is kind of ambient.. really weired but quite nice.

i think you need to cut off more of the highs from the bass so it is just a low rumble without any other sound... if you know what i mean..

its like the bass has got loads of cutoff. but it wants to have a more open sound. maybe go for a more 'sub bass' patch.. or eq this so you just hear the real lows..

quite nice

The bass is too loud, so kinda throws the kick of.

I like the way the rhythm evolves.

Pretty good so far.

The percs do sound kinda canned though. It'd be nice to hear a bit more atmosphere on them, give the track some more energy.

I wish you'd fatten up some of those trippy synth effects. I'd like to hear them washing around.

This reminds me of irrestible force or something.

I don't think the bass needs to go down. You could bring the drums up. If you like raw drums just get fat samples from a miked kit.

This is very tech-ambient to me.

Thanks for sharing

bass up bass down...LEAVE ME ALONE LOL

hmm yeah i need to still add effects, all i got is some compression on the first melody kinda crap and some reverb on the drumms (not on the ones i posted)

fatten 'em up? what kinda effects or EQ should i use for that?
