so you morons think today's music is Good ??
That's 'cause you have never heard real music !!!
Anybody that tells me that today's music is good have to tell me why and then have to go and listen to

its getting bigger and bigger....
you have to realize that every generation things change.
Those getting into this music might like it, where as the old schoolers will not.Electro House has so much filler right now its not even funny, yet it is quickly becoming one of the more popular genres.
Take me for instance...in the early 90's i was a hip hop junkie, today i cant listen to any of the garbage produced.Tastes sometimes mature faster than the "scene"

The three albums u named are amazing. but they're is still crazy stuff coming out these days. People's tastes change, the people who make the music are feeeling something different. EDM is still one of these the purest form of music. producers make next to nothing yet keep on making the beats. Cant say the same about hip hop.
p.s Das Efx was insane...Wu-Tang will always be the best hip hop group of all time IMO.
There is good music coming out nowadays.. You just have to look harder to find it.

I still enjoy the 1998 - 2001 stuff compared to the stuff to now.
I still crank out tunes from like 2002-2003.
One thing I fucking love all the Northern Exposure cds from Digweed and Sasha!
All the cd's combined make the BEST compilation imo.

People were doing more drugs, everybody was friendly, everything was new, people smiling, more people in clubs...
People crying in their car while listening to trance on ecstasy backlash in the middle of the week...
LIstening to Northen Exposure while thinking of how fun it was last Saturday at Sona.
Music was better because people were not so cranky and bitter.
But I really don't see how the music itself was better than today. I have, in my opinion, as much awesome tracks, if not more, than I had back then. I have some late 90's CDs at home with uninspired cold loops for 3 minutes... Trends come and goes, but they all have their share of crappy tracks.
The music magic is lost because it was hard back then to find the name of a track. It was a mystery. You could go on for weeks trying to know what was that track that blew your mind. Today's it,s all OMFG HE DROP THAT TRACK AND THEN THAT TRACK AND OMG MIXED IT WITH THIS ONE.... first thing people ask is "was the set recored"... all about tracklisting, dropping the bombs, so little storytelling, so little underground. When clubs were full, you could go underground for hours, and people were fallowing the mood. Today, if you don't make them dance for 15 minutes or drop a popular bomb, they sit or they leave, because people are dancing as individuals.
A lot of things changed, but the music is still good.
