I went to a club last weekend and they played a wicked remix from Robert Miles - Children and a wicked trance remix from Michael Jackson - Thriller

any ideas what that could be?

I think this version is much better than the Future Breeze vs Junkfood Junkies mix.

Of course there's also the Tilt remake of "Children" from the late '90s, but you probably know about that one already.

Not sure about that "Thriller" track though...
