Gustavo Santaolalla - The Wings (Brokeback Mountain Theme) (Gabriel & Dresden Remix)
Hello everybody,
some weeks have passed by since the remix by "Gabriel & Dresden" has found it's way to Armin's "A State Of Trance"-show and even a few other DJs have played it out, recently.
What do YOU think of their remix?
Amazing.
But does that make me gay for liking it? 
I really enjoy the G & D remix, the melody in the song is awsome! Good track

I'm sorry - I know a LOT of people are claiming uberchoonage - but I'm not really feeling it (and this is coming from a G&D whore, mind you). It just seems to me as if they took the original, sidechained it, and put some drums over it. It's definitely not flat-out bad, but it's definitely not the tune of the year. I guess part of it is that I usually expect peak-hour or late-night stuff from them, and this is more of a laid back mix.
I guess I'll just have to hear it in a club, which they'll no doubt do when they come to Detroit next month.

Oh dear.
its good, nothing special... but DEFINITELY better than many of G&D's recent productions.. like tracking treasure down... what a god awful track that is.. hopefully the G&D whore doesn't like that song or hes lost his mind

nothing really special here (even for G&D) but it does have a nice melody and its preety nice. good to listen to, but i dont think it would be any good in a set.

there are some songs that just should NOT be remixed, and this is one of them..
that being said, i thought the tune in its own right sucked anyways.
i like this song..only when mixed with Agnelli & Nelson - Everyday 2005. does anyone else notice any resemblence in the melody? try mixing them, it sounds sick
It's not an obvious tune, it's a grower, and it has grown on me some what. Super haunting melody, will have you whistling for days.

overall its alright. nice melody.
the same charming/calming melody over and over with the g&d copyrighten effect gets a bit boring. plus the song doesnt go nowhere and feels like looping.
im not saying its bad, but it just doesnt deserve all the hype
