eh, well anything can play anything these days with hacked firmware/add-on hardware/boot disks. I recently just saw Xbox running Mugen (lots of trial and error, buggy, but it's amazing to see it up)

It'll be interesting to see how much these retro games cost. After all, they are really rather old and you've been able to play them for free with emulators for ages. If I get a Revolution you can count on me downloading the Donkey Kong Country trilogy, though!

EGM says between $3-$5 for most, and for some more "sought after" games, expect market value, i.e. the average price to purchase the game used.

No word on if the ridiculous prices for hard to find RPG's from the 16 bit era will stand.

Let's hope not.

But that title is almost a GUARANTEED release (because it's a first party release) for Revolution classics

i love what nintendo is doing.
instead of following suite and building insane media machines that will cost insane amount of money, they are focusing on the games themselves.

plus theres supposedly a big suprise tat will be revelead by nintendo at E3 this May. i'm excited

i hope it has something to do with rev also being an access point for wifi so you can play games with people all around the world without plugging in. this will surely make up for the fact that the system doesn't have HD (although it will have progressive scan, 480p, which is pretty damn sexy)
