i can't pick my fav track of 2006 so far, simply because barely any qualifies.
Now that I think about it, what I was expecting was something on the lines of Armins "sail" or Platipus's "two full moons and a trout"
How can a simple question ignite such dissppointment in you guys?
read the cd reviews..

maybe we should talk in abstract terms. Trance in general, are there any new musical variations of it that are gaining momentum?
say in 99 it was snare rolls and supersaws
2001/02 was an explosion of prog, stuff dominated by bass, and the flight from trance
03/04 gabriel and dresden's year, shulz/GDJB, twinkly sounds growing in popoularity
05/06 ?what is happening in this era? which elements of the music are relatively new developments? I'd say the hybridising of trance with this "electro" stereotype and the recent focus on minimal and tiny sounds are the recent trend, but that isn't really specific to trance right now.
23?
you and I must talk.
its almost new moon.
