Talking [192Kbit ]Crystal Invitation 2006 (PUSH/Plastic Boy Style)

In November I posted the track:

MINDSOUNDSCAPES - Crystal Invitation

Peter and I got really good feedback for this track, not only on tranceaddict but also from lots of well known Trance DJs like
Tillmann Uhrmacher, Suzy Solar and many many others.

As a direct consequence of their good feedback and encouragement we decided to make a new 2006 remix.

nice production...I like the old version a bit better though, but this version is also really cool. Keep up the great work buddy

I never heard the original. But I really like the beginning a lot. What I like is the way it sounds like it's slowing down or stopping while it keeps going. I think it's the synth and the compression beat or something, but it's very trippy. This would certainly get a great floor reaction from me. Especially the breakbeat-ish part before the break. I don't think the break built quite enough energy. As a clubber, I hate standing around if I don't feel something big is swelling.

Very cool, and great mixing/mastering. Rich and full on my home stereo.

this is really cool , nice with all the gated? melodies in the back, the beat is a bit to weak for me .

the plucked melody is really nice .
i cant stop humming it ^^.

at 3:30 something the main lead comes in, its kinda cool but i liked the plucked one more!

maybe have that lead in the back and a gated pad/saw with the pluck melody instead cuz that pwnd ^^, o w8 theres that pluck .

well enough me babling about your plucked melody! great work ^^

I think about the break one more time. In the original version the break seemed to be more energetic and epic, so we dedcided to make it shorter in this version. I am not sure if this is a good idean anymore, so perhaps we are going to change.

@Snowwave

It would be really great if you did a remix. I gotta speak with my partner Peter about it, but I think thsi shouldn't be a problem

listening.....

percs are decent, bass is a bit thin i think
like the gated choir u got there, sounds good
breakbeat part is good
melody is good, maybe it could sound better with another synth work
i like the break aswell but the build up could be better

overall a nice track, but needs work. also do some panning is too mono imo. mastering could be better too.

keep it up

Nice dark sounds in the intro.

I like that little minimal breaks cut at 0:55.

I love the convolving rhythm synth at 0:57. Very trippy.

The break is really good around 2:38 because of it's low energy. It's not so useful for building energy.

And the switch to hard trance. Interesting, if not quite suited to my tastes.

Excellent production. I liked the first half better, though.

I'm unsure about this remix.

On the one hand it's produced nicely, but it seems to miss all the energy the original had. I noticed this especially after the break, it seems like you forget the bassline there, the drive is missing entirely

For now, i'll keep on sticking to the original

IMO it sounds too mono also. Sounds good though otherwise.

Thanks for feedback,

I think about reworking this remix soon, especially the stereo width can be improved

Thanks for your feedback!

Nice track, very progressive and chilled

Lovely production. Nice riff, very simple but very effective.

amazing tune!
i like the steady but minimal way, the percussions build up.
cool breaks, well used fx and a dry but sexy bassline.
really reminds me a lot of m.i.k.e.'s produktions.
and as always very fine mastering!
this definitely would be a great release on ASOT

i love it

edit: the only thing i realized i don't like, are the snare fills.
they're very standard and seem to slow the track down imho.
