E and Trance

I wrote a blog on this on myspace, but I wanted to bring it up here. before anyone gets mad, i'm just stating my opinion and i want to see what others think about it too. i like drugs...that's no lie, but when it comes to trance, i don't like to pop pills and drink while listening to it. i may be overzealous or something, but when i listen to trance, i already get way too into it so i don't have to drink or take e to feel it. it just annoys me how some people have to take e just to listen to trance or show up at the club constantly all stung out on e and making the rest of tranceheads look stupid. i mean there's nothing wrong with popping e at all, but i just feel that there are those who take it too much out of context...

what do you guys think?

u r telling me that u consume drugs?

yeah i consume some drugs...mostly "legal" stuff though. i'm not a junkie or a druggie though.

Doesnt bother me...everyone parties how they want. I used to to do that 10 years ago....now I dont. I just walk around them. They are harmless...Id rather have them there than a bunch of thugs trying act hard.

i see...that's true, to each their own. i just hate when i get trampled on in the club on the dancefloor. i put up with it most of the time...the music is too good to throw a fit.

as for those drugs i do not use nyquil and sinus drugs. =/

i like drinking whenever.

i don't drink very much but when i do, i drink vodka, whiskey (my favorite) and tequila or almost any hard alcohol. i can't stand the taste of beer.

Presidente - they sell it in the united states i know but it doesnt taste the same

I take recreational drugs. I certainly don't need drugs to have an awesome time at a trance night, i'm there for the music and that reason alone but ecstasy makes the experience even better. If you get a decent pill your whole body seems to be 'in tune' with the music, your emotions are completely affected by it.

Another point; since trance isn't exactly the most popular genre of music in england you're only really likely to meet like minded people at trance events. Ecstasy makes it much easier. You become very open to talking to complete strangers, in the space of 10mins you can go from letting someone take a sip of your water bottle to feeling like his/her best friend.

The thing i don't like about ecstacy+trance is random chav type people turning up at trance nights thinking it'll be a 'larf' to take drugs and get fucked. They usually act like complete twats

Nobody has to take E when they go to a party. I certainly don't need it to enjoy the music. That said.... why not take it. I mean really.... E is the bacon and cheese of drugs, everything is better with bacon and cheese! Sure I could have a burger but why settle for a burger when you can have a bacon cheese burger. At least that's how I see it.
