King Wowowow!

ok...I saw PPK and had to listen. I love 'em despite what most everyone here says. What a fantastic beginning....I can tell this remix will do them justice!
Love the way you played with the filters on your drums! What a freakin' amazing break!! Love the lead synth! You nailed it!! It may be a tad too staccato to my way of thinking, but it really keeps the genuine feel of the original while bringing in some terrific "non-cheese" elements.
My hats of to you. You've done a GREAT job! I'm definitely keeping this one on my hard drive!!! LOVE IT MAN!!

Just wanted to say AGAIN how great this is! WOW...it gets better with age. But then again. All cheese does.

hey! intro is really good..

i though of one thing: why does the link say russianejay.com?

the intro is great, it keeps on building really great .
there is like .. acid like sounds in the back i like those..
the bell sounds are pretty cool

the lead doesnt have that much energy...

the whole track just feels standard to me..

great work anyway..

a remix made with ejay? cool

Posted by eRRaTiK on Mar-26-2006 12:57:

yes the intro is killer. i think the track could have more energy.

other than that very well done.

ps. i prefer resurrection

Hi everyone! Thanks for the feedback!

And no, the track is not made with ejay. We wrote it in FL 6 completely, using tons of VST instruments.

The link say "russianejay.com" because I own that portal and therefore rather upload the track there, since I have own server space. And russianejay.com its not for ejayers only - it's more of a musician portal for russians.

Thanks again!

lolz... dance ejay

your tune is not bad.

the bassdrum sounds a bit flat imo.
i like the synth that floats in at start, very driving.
the bassline sounds good aswell, maybe a bit standart but it works.
the clap sounds very dry, i would use some heavy reverb on it.
besides that the percussion work is good, maybe a bit basic.
i never liked the ppk lead sound. it sounds to flutey to me and i hoped you came up with something different.
mastering is good but sounds ab dirty in the higher frequencies after the break.

i cannot relate to the original because i never heard it but this sounds very much like ppk sound.

NO! To change the lead would be a sacrilege to PPK. That is their sound. Like it or lump it. Its PPK.

Brilliant dude!

listening....

percs and bass sounds ok,no big deal tho
fxs and textures are good, like them
good work with the filter
break is nice, good atmosphere
maybe the melody could be a lil bit lower in volume, or maybe more efects on it

nice production overall

Thanks again, everyone, for such kind comments. I'll keep in mind all the suggestions given. After all, that's how people learn

Thanks!

Hi again everyone!

I'm sorry for double posting, but I've uploaded the final version of this track. In it, I've tweaked the main lead's attack to get of rid of that annoying staccato, modified compression levels to a lot of stuff and also did better mastering with stereo enhancement.

So I guess those who want it, just use the link in the first post to download. I really hope you enjoy it

Again thanks for all the feedback!

...oh...glad I checked back! I'll get the final!
