Feels wrong with DA not starting this thread by now..

Really crowded and security was a Biiitccchhh.More review later....Sleepy...

Just got home. Shitty night, shitty atmosphere...complete crap. And my car got broken into. Motherf*ckers, stole 3 packs of gum...stupid fucks! G'night. James and Nic would have probably been better.

pvd played for 4 hours and 45 mins. the vibe went up and down as did the set. I did get to hear his new track Stormy skies which was cool. Didnt think it was all he said it to be but still its something new. Getting the "involved" vip package was a hell of a deal and we had loads of fun. I will post videos and pics up within a few days. This set had no comparison to November 4th at space, thats for sure. For some reason the main room died extremely quickly even though edgar v. brought the major heat. Oscar played a really good warm up set and ended on just the right note for pvd to get on. I like the new terrace how its linked to the loft, i think thats awesome

Oscar did good, he knew he was opening only. Pvd was up and down and even though I didn't stay for the whole set, I heard the vast majority of it. He started off kick ass, then slowed it, then came back. Crazy. Anyways It was so fucking packed. At times I couldn't even move my shoulders! Great ta turnout. Good seeing Doug and Maribel(hadn't seen you guys in ages ) When I got out around 4 something there was a HUGE line outsided waiting to get in. HUGE! Omg felt sorry for em it was freezing!!!!!!!!! Lost wtf they broke into ur car?? damn that sux man.

Did he play any classics like tell me why, we're alive, for an angel, Avenue, ?

Spacemasters, how'd you get into Space??

I just woke up...




This was the one show...the last show I was anticipating the most. Paul's first two hours were another elevator set a la "Tooth" Decay from Armada night....it went up and down, up and down, good songs, meh songs. Fuckin' eh.

Then, something happened. A song from a dear friend of mine came on and I realized that maybe the night was NOT to be lost

Everyone was asking for me, but I was off in my own little world so I didn't really see too many TAs tonight, but I did chill with Colleen, Thomas B, Chrissi (raverchik), her bud (forgot your name) Arturo and a few others.

Edgar V came on and ripped it proper as always. Great seeing him after so long. Oscar G was an absolute fuckin' joke. He played Randy Katana - Play it louder with the pitch so low it actually sounded like a house track. Disgusting.

Paul's crowd interaction was defintely the complete opposite of Spirits. He was dancing and jumping up and down and doing the little "slide" thing with his hand. Classic PVD. All in all I had a good night, but will admit that I thought the night was gonna be fucked with those first two hours. One thing is for sure, the tunes in the 1st two hours were similar to Spirits, but a little bit better with more energy. Just too brash and hard for everyone like Joaquin, Lis. I'll agree with them on that.

The night took a while for me to get truly started but overall, it was worth getting packed like sardines. It actually cleared up a bit, surprisingly.

Space has really cracked down on cameras so no pics from me this time around. Sorry guys.

PvD....is STILL my #1...and I have no regrets about last night whatsoever....




....I'm just surprised I made it home alive.

Well first off I wanna say...

And now to PVD's set. Like everyone said it was an elevator set. It went up and down and back up again. At one point there he was almost playing some borderline house stuff But at some point like 2 hours into his set or so, he started playing the classic style PVD stuff and thats when it got good!! Oh and one of the best parts of his set was when he played Filo & Peri - Ordinary Moments I freaked out!! I been dying to hear that song on a good system.

Good chilling with the usual box crew...we pwned that shit once again!!

Alright im out!! gonna go freeze my butt off at Ultra now

It seems like when DJ's reach that #1 spot they get cursed or something.

Yeah the set had SOME good tunes but 4hrs & 45min should have had more than SOME he took like 2hrs to stop playing CRAP & somewhat bang.



All in all I will not ever see PvD again unless it's free...sad to say but he lost a lot of respect from me. Spirits was excusable but not last night @ Space during WMC...

& I am done.

so far of all the parties I've een too Armin was the worst one. Everyone else I had a great time so I'm hoping Tiesto doesn't suck either!

+6 (our entire group agrees), remember conference 2004, pvd played every mix of crush including the hybrid mix. Of course that was the last 6 hour set at space that ever happened but he didnt need to leave a nice lifelong taste of BS in my mouth.

Also, a confernce crowd that thins out before the headliner gets off. The only thing, the terrace was deffinitely going off. Major fun on the roof top

There just too many parties everywhere, where the price isnt as much $

I agree. This year seems to be lackluster compared to last. I mean, dude. Last year it was like $25-30 for parking for Space.

Armada night this year - $10
Last Night - $15

Even with Nocturnal and this other new club next to it, this year was less hyped up than last.
