is it true u should keep it to 1 page? i find it fuckin impossible to do so. mines 2 1/2 pages and i dont give a fuck if its too long, im 24, ive gained more then one page of relevant experience and skills over the years.

You never know though.

Some employers look for other exp other than ones directly applicable to the job.

Its true, even though some of your first jobs may not be at all related to what u are applying for, a company might find some of your past knowledge beneficial. I have a 2 page resume and i never had a problem.

Or otherwise I would make two. one with the condensed version fitting on one page and another longer one.

my dad for instance has a 27 page resume when it comes to serious jobs and then a shorter one for more casual instances that might lead somewhere later.

2 pages is pretty much standard procedure. Every resume writing book i've read says don't go over 2 pages though.

if you are applying for an entry level position, i think it is standard to have a 1 page resume. You are 24, and if you say you have worked so many jobs, then i am going to assume that on your first couple of jobs, you learned more than you contributed as you were a lot younger at the time so you might want to focus on what your learned to save space and dont put jobs you worked less than 3 months at.

It's not that hard to fit a resume into a page if you really really work on it. Use table's and appropriate fonts to reduce the size of your resume. For example, besides using tables, i did things like pressing enter after completing a job description and then changing the font size to 4 or 5 to keep minimal distance between each job but not so much that the reader gets both jobs mixed.

ya i usually do the same. i tailor my resume to what the position requires.
