I Got The Job!

hey c0r.

i know i haven't been here long, so nobody probably gives a shit, but fuck, it's the internet, and i pretend to give a shit when something special happens to you, so bear with me (j/k... i care.. really)

i got the job @ IBM! it is a chronic job for someone with no collegiate experience to get... FT, double-digits an hour, benefits, the whole package, i'm fuckin excited!

and i probably won't be in the c0r so much either!!

the job is in the manufacturing division, in the clean room (with the suits and shit). i'll be responsible for supervising some of the robotics that produce IBM chips and boards

I've worked on a night shift for a wafer fab company..it wasnt pretty..but it sure paid me a shit load of money

yeah.. the shifts are twelve hours, and you get 3 days off a week

the shift-schedules they have available are:

A) Work-Work-Work-Work-Off-Off-Off

B) Work-Off-Work-Off-Work-Off-Work

i'm def. going for A)

maybe now i can be rich as all the other TA's and buy a nice setup

well let them run the background check then. I don't think they can retract the offer just because they 'haven't' run it you. BUT, if they see something they don't like (drug test catches something fishy, or they dig up some police record on you), they have full right to decline employment.
