OMFG / this is real
This photograph was taken by local resident Tony O'Rahilly on 19 November, 1995, as Wem Town Hall, Shropshire, England, burned to the ground. When O'Rahilly took the photo, neither he, nor other onlookers, saw the little girl in the doorway. The picture was taken with a 200mm lens from across the road because O'Rahilly and other onlookers were prevented by police and fire personnel from approaching the burning structure.
After the image was developed, O'Rahilly submitted it to the Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena. They, in turn, sent the picture and the negative to photographic expert Dr. Vernon Harrison, former president of the Royal Photographic Society. Dr. Harrison analyzed the print and negative and reported that he was satisfied that the picture is genuine. "The negative is a straight forward piece of black-&-white work and shows no sign of having been tampered with," said Harrison.
A fire ravaged the town hall once before, in 1677. The historical record indicates that the 1677 fire was caused by a young girl, Jane Churm, who was careless with a candle. In later years, Churm's ghost was reputed to haunt the town hall.
Skeptics, including Dr. Harrison, have claimed the child is nothing more than the convenient arrangement of smoke, flame, light, and shadow at the moment of exposure. But what are the odds of smoke, flame, light, and shadow randomly forming the shape of a girl in the doorway of a building allegedly haunted by a girl, at the very moment a photographer took this picture? The odds must be at least ten billion to one-- as high as the odds of having captured a real ghost on film.

what happened was that i was here in the chair talking shit on TA
it was 3:24 am
the kitchen is behind me
and the kitchen doors r like the ones in the wild west
like the bars and shit that are 2 little doors that open @ the same time
ok
so all of the sudden they open
it made a lot of noise cuz they crashed in the walls
and they closed
and it happened again so i freaked out
and went 2 sleep
but before i went 2 sleep i got so !@#$ cold
and the doors banged on the walls again
the weird thing about this is that
1 - it was so hot i was sweating last night
2 - it was not the wind cuz all the windows where closed
3 - no 1 was awake only me
this is serious and no 1 quotes

Why do ghosts show up in pictures when you can't see them with your own eyes?

Actually, quite seriously... and this is no joke...
I used to live in a townhome that I bought from some guy who said it was his mom's townhome. The dude was in his 60's and I don't remember if he directly said it or it was implied but I think his mom died in the house.
As cozy as it was, I never quite felt at home there while I was single and after I got married - even with all the influence from a woman's touch it still did not feel any cozier. There was something apprehensive about the house. Even my wife pointed out that the house was not warm and had some bad aura or some dark feeling to it.
One time my wife and I had some bad fight and she left to her parent's house. I spen the night alone and entire house was creaking and sounded like someone was there. I even had the light on downstairs(yeah, I'm a little bitch, so???). Finally, after restless night I was getting ready to leave the house when I heard all this like whisper-chatter... something indiscernable but sounded very mean and evil. It was getting louder and louder. I just grabbed my jacket and almost ran out of the house. As I was pulling away, I could have sworn I saw the blinds in the upstairs window move - and that's the room I wasn't even in all day!
That was a very creepy experience...

i dont really beleive in other things but i do beleive in ghosts
